Turn old magazines and catalogs into extra seating around the home. Simply affix the cotton and nylon straps around a stacked bundle of catalogs or magazines. The perfect solution for turning unruly piles of reading material into extra seating is part recycling tool, part home organizer, part storage and part furniture.
I usually put my devices in cases (either acrylic or silicone) to protect them but it doesn’t give that “look” when it’s is covered. Besides, it’s a bit troublesome to put it in and out the case when you dial or answering calls. So bleeh, I dumped it.
If you don’t have anything nice to say (no matter what the circumstance), keep it to yourself. It won’t help the situation any to let someone know that someone else doesn’t like them, or has something uncomplimentary to say. I’d rather live in ignorant bliss. At least I’ll be in bliss.
My palette of materials consists of rattan, buri, kawayan and abaca. Each has their own texture, colour, smell and sound. You can bend, twist and weave them in endless ways. It is a feast of the senses to work with these.
