And because of blogging…
1. My morning cuppy makes me feel good everytime I ran into my computer until a point where I feel sick and throw up at my keyboard. If I am going to be sitting and waiting for my wifi buddies to show up like late evenings, I started to drink like two to three mugs. However the more I drink, the easy for me to feel really sleepy.
2. I use to read my Sunday horoscope just before I start to write what’s in my head. For some weird reason, it helps me express more what I feel than what’s in my head.
3. I bought a digital cam to appreciate the skyscrapers and the streets, the bus, the road and even the things I don’t normally appreciate. I started to learn how to be a photographer and fantasize the things around, if only my eyes were a camera.
4. I slightly got obsessed with trackbacks and links that really didn’t matter. Learning how to make use of the RSS feeds. Readers who are silent wondering what they want, how they find my url. The fact that people coming back and leaving comments is what keeps me going.
5. I discovered that there are a lot of people who, other than me are seeking similar interest. Perhaps we seek companionship (or at times, even friendship) in our blogs and build our own communities.
6. I’ve learnt to write something that surprises me than surprising my readers. A good blogger is to write about the words they feel without having to do it in person.
7. After all, even if I want to post some controversial entries (that would be my photos) I would still have to answer to anyone personally.
8. I’ve been more honest with myself than I would ever have been. But at times, I hold myself back from being too honest. I always think at the back of my head that no one really cares, so it doesn’t matter.
9. I got a free unique URL of my own. And that’s the most coolest thing EVER!
10. I shared my creativeness, albeit only in pictures. If not for the flickr, I wouldn’t think I can write my thoughts in it.
11. I’ve dreamt that I could be a full time writer, to cover everything about the latest fashion, designs and ideas on how to paint an Apartment in green.
12. I learned how to use the plugin, widgets and most of all, admired the techie guys who makes GOOD Wordpress themes and a bit of CSS stylesheet and screw it big time.
13. I sleep and wake up so late that I could entirely make up an excuse not to go to work so I can blog for more.
14. I’ve got more ‘writers block’ during Mondays and learnt that writers block is only for those who blog for money.
15. I learned that I can make a little money by plastering Ads everywhere and thought “Holy molly, this is freaking pointless”.
16. That I’d never really thought I would met some fellow bloggers through blog-linking.
17. I’m never too old to enjoy a good song and learn how to sing better with my eyes closed.
18. I really forced my self to write regularly because I believed that “constant practice really makes you perfect.”
19. I am awesome. I believe there’s a light at the end of the… building? I blog because its an outlet for my life stories that don’t get much of an airing. At least everyone knows what I’ve been up to. Singing.
20. The never ending MEME’s.
In the end, through this analysis, we go full-circle. The main reason we blog is because we love it - no matter what our underlying intentions are.
