Gabi Wilson, the little Alicia Keys

I think this is an old news, but I thought this little kid is just amazing!

Gabi Wilson is a 10 year old girl who is being called one of the most talented kids in America for her abilities to play the piano, bass, drums and guitar and sing.

Q: You’ve been called “Little Alicia Keys.” What do you like about her music particularly?

Gabi Wilson: Well, she plays an instrument and she sings. She’s my idol, I love her music. It’s really funky and my type of music.

And guess what, she is a half Filipino-Black American. Her mother Agnes Wilson a native Filipina, her father Kenny Wilson is a member of the Urban Bushmen, a local band that we refer to as “The Soul of Vallejo” here at Listen & Be Heard Poetry Café

    wow the filipino/half-filipino blood is on a rampage. i just saw on youtube a kid named charlie green audition on britain got talent and simon cowell loved the kid.

    Filipino singers are really making waves recently.Dati pangarap ko rin maging magaling kumanta. But my music teacher told me I can’t sing. Oh well… :)
