How do you feel when you realize you like someone?

.. and that someone is just a friend.

Do you get nervous? Anxious? Happy? Shy?

I can say that I get excited and wish the day would not end so quickly. And you heart’s beating so fast like you wanted to say something but can’t and feel breathless.

How do you feel?

Hmm…what would I feel when I realize I like someone? Based from experience, the song “Don’t know what to do” keeps brewing in my head. =)

“I have loved you only in my mind
But I know that there will come a time
You’ll feel this feeling I have inside

You’re a ‘hopeless romantic’ is what they say
Falling in and out of love just like a play
Memorizing each line I still don’t know what to say
    What to say…

Don’t know what to do whenever you are near
Don’t know what to say my heart is floating in tears
When you pass by I could fly
Every minute every second of the day
I dream of you in the most special way
You’re beside me all the time…….”

Although I think this song is more of an “infatuation”.

Since I’m happily married, I don’t really have romantic feelings for anyone else but my wife. I like people who are unique, who look interesting and have interesting opinions.

Most of the time I see interesting people at school or on the bus.

“Don’t know what to do” was one of my theme songs for my unrequited loves when I was in high school and college. :) I remember feeling all giddy, with that familiar “butterflies in my stomach” sensation whenever I see the boy. And my day won’t feel complete when I don’t see him. Ahh…those were the days. Of course now, I just enjoy the passion as well as the loving comfort of being with my hubby. Love, the true kind of love, is really a wonderful thing. :)

Range, I certainly know that you are a good husband, a friend and as a person. I can tell from the words you say.

Jayme, so pretty much we felt the same thing. I’m feeling like a sophomore again, maybe (love) life begins at 40. I’m nearly there…. I’ll keep it inside for a while, it’s a good feeling eh? Hehehe.

    ako nagpapa-cute, hehe.

when i realize i like someone, i do everything to find out more about the person. from that, i find out if i should proceed with the ‘infatuation’ or if he’s just not worth my time.

kya heto hanggang ngayon panay ang pa-cute sa aking asawa hehehe.

    sino yan K? :D

It’s make look like a teenager, infact this is crazy. I don’t know my guardian angel said, “wag na wag mong sasabihin”. So secret muna, hahaha.
