Numbness for Sound

I have been kicking around lately listening and downloading Indie-Love these days. Since I haven’t done this for a long time, I decided to share some music for all the good ol’ friends out there, TMT – “The Music Thieves”.

Ok, let’s be honest, if you find something useful to this site and want me to continue sharing any music downloads, kindly inform me what you are looking for and I will be happy to give them to you. Don’t be a stranger. Infact, I’m sharing a few downloads.

These are my Top Ten tracks playing on my iPhone. If you can’t tap emotion to what you’re trying to listen to, then you probably end up into the mainstream music. Honestly, I am tired listening to all the sad songs to my head. Listening to Indie music is a way of relaxing and having fun at the same time because I felt like I could just be myself all day. Try listening to any Indie music and you’ll be able to translate feelings and emotions to words, it’s kinda like pulling things out of the air and feel something – in a way, just amazing. It’s so much better than any other feeling in the world.

Enjoy!

that is what i have been doing lately- listening to indie music. do you know that Brooke White, a American Idol constestant with a resonating voice from AZ is also a singer-songwriter. listen also to susan cowsill’s original songs on myspace. Nanny Song is one of my favorites from her repertoire.

Range, I think as we mature, we tend to choose music that relaxes the minds rather than get stucked in the chorus lines over and over – and yes there are a lot to choose from but I’m keeping in tune to the Indie’s at the moment. Any particular song recommendation?

Dimaks, your guess was good as mine. How did you know? This is how I normally blog – I miss it. My very first few months of blogging back in the old days was to download – share mp3’s. It was when I thought people would love you back if you give something for free (and still is). Downloading is not easy really, took me hours to bring all the goodies altogether, but I enjoyed doing it.

Belle, I heard. Not only Brooke, some of the A1 Top 12 this season has released CD in the past or into the Band at least except for Ramiele (Fil-Am). All along, I’d still wonder if your daughter is the one singing on that stage rather than her. It would have been fun to watch.

I am actually digging Rachael Yamagata but thanks for the recommendation on Susan Cowill. I’ll look for it.

Duke, I will, I will. But I don’t get the full benefit of red calendar day holiday, for me it’s still work tho’ I can still follow the tradition by omitting meats for the whole abstinence week – thanks God for the veggie salads. Enjoy yours, too.

Aba, isa ka pala sa mga TMT, ‘wind. Ok lang, as long as you enjoy the music that’s already a consolation. Where have you been hiding all this time? Busy sa “travelling” around Pinas ba?

Good to see you ‘coming back to life’. We miss your rants.

Ginger, I remembered when I was younger, I listen to Japanese pop music. My japanese ultimate choice was from Utada Hikaru but my love for R&B is still swayin’. But you know I’d listen to my own karaoke recording almost everytime I open my iTunes, hehehe.

Hi Charles, I found it. Absolutely uber-cool but why it was labeled as “explicit”? Her voice is very haunting, truly special. I’ll add it on my rotation. Thanks.
