Oh my goodness! The thinnest I have ever seen. And my favourite part, it is a Mac.

MacBook Air is ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else. But you don’t lose inches and pounds overnight.

It’s the result of rethinking conventions.

Of multiple wireless innovations.

And of breakthrough design.

With MacBook Air, mobile computing suddenly has a new standard.

But why is it so expensive? Well I have something really really interesting to look forward to this coming weeks, ahems. Plus this.

Hello K!

It really looks nice, but then features wise, not enough for techie traveling people. I really thought they will come up of an improved MacBook Pro. But for those who just would like to surf only, email only, and blog probably, I guess it would be enough. I’m not a geek, not a techie person too but the features are also not enough for me.

Anyway, have a nice weekend!

Sofie, I am not a “geek” either, I just love Mac after my switch. So far I’m still enjoying my MacBook for a year na but everytime na may bago from Mac, I easily panicked.

ang gara nung laptop skins. it’s like dressing a cell fone unit. I saw the video ad of this and whoa it’s really something. I can’t believe they have minimized the girth of the lap top and made it this ultra thin. nothing is really impossible with gadgets these days. You’ll never know, tomorrow we might have a t-shirt that has lcd on it. Happy weekend!

Blue, a t-shirt with built-in LCD screen? Is it possible? I doubt it, how would you wash it?

pretty and handy! you can even carry it anywhere you go and no one will notice it. are you buying one? how’s the sound compared to the regular laptop? pretty much the same?

Belle, I think the sound will depend on your hi-fi speaker. If you buy a BOSE speakers, malamang it’s superfragilisticexpialidocious. I will buy if I win the lottery, why not? Pigilan mo ako!

It is beautiful but certainly it is a stupid machine. When I read the specs they sacrificed alot of stuff that is quite important just for the sake of design. I would really say it is just a waste to buy that one. I would rather get a macbook pro.

Charles, it strikes me! I heard that there’s a limited connectivity in it as well. There’s only one USB port, and USB hubs that will never seem to work as well as built-in ports do. There’s no Ethernet adapter, either. Something to think about, but still I can’t wait (to see, touch and feel it first) then I’d go for it.

yeah it’s so thin! it looks so fragile. parang ang daling mabasag. ive also seen new models of laptops na nat-twist yung monitor, i think it can convert into a tablet. my goodness, kung anu-ano naiisip nila. i don’t know na, hehehe…I’ll still stick to the “thicker” laptop, baka masira ko lang yan. That’s probably as thin as the iPod classic, huh?

Diane, yes super thin and compact. You can even slide it inside a Manila brown envelop. Considering its size, it’s a pretty neat laptop if you don’t need a CD/DVD R/W or if you’re willing to carry an external one around when you travel.

i’m not very techie but this certainly appeals to my aesthetic eye. pero, tsaka na siguro ako when they’ve put in (or put back, as it were) yung mga specs that they sacrificed.

Cheh, PANIS! anong ginagawa ng PPP jan? Ako din wala, excited lang para ganahan ako sa pag wo-work. I was impressed by the touchpad there. Well there are lots of people bashing saying “it’s not that this isn’t neat and all but that’s really it”. But what I said to Charles, I’m curious and want to see it first up close and personal.
