Now that the campaign for NO PLASTIC bags are getting tighter around every Hong Kong grocery stores, some people have even opted to Reuse shopping brand bags such as Chanel, Armani or the D&G’s which are the new HOT things in Hong Kong. Office people reuse these paper bags to put their lunch boxes, gym clothes or packing up sandwiches for a little picnic on the weekends. If these are true, I’d say Go Reuse!

The Sunkist Tutti-Frutti is a zip-up barrel shape bag in glossy pink. It will easily accommodate essentials for an overnight stay and has three zip pockets for valuables. Another bag that will get you noticed is the Sunkist Mixed fruit in acid green. All seams have been double stiched for durability.
Do these bags look familiar to you? They are called the Doy Bags.
Doy Bags are a range of bags, purses and accessories made from recycled juice packs - non-biodegradable foil and plastic packaging that would otherwise go into landfill sites and incinerators.
The juice packs come in a large number of fruity flavours, such as the ever popular Fruit-C and Jungle Juice ranges, which are mixed and matched to create a huge variety of colourful bags. There are Doy Bags made from recycled sauce packs from Banana Ketchup and Tomato Sauce bags. And for chocoholics we even have Choc-O bags!
Surprise! Surprise!
Doy Bags are made by our very own women’s cooperative in the Philippines. The large number of bags and household items that we produce every year prevents vast quantities of juice packs from being burnt, buried or simply littering the streets and waterways.
What’s the goal of producing these recycled bags?
We are working hard towards being as ‘green’ and environmentally friendly as possible, however there is also a major fair trade and livelihood creation dimension to Doy Bags which is very important to us. The more bags we can sell - even if this means sometimes shipping by air - the more disadvantaged women in the Philippines can be provided with a decent and sustainable livelihood. - Doy Bags
So yes, they are Made in The Philippines but since majority of these bags stock are transported to the UK, shipping to Hong Kong can now be arranged as well.
