My first meme for this year. I don’t understand why I have always been the primary target of this plague but I am not complaining because I enjoy answering (the bad part is, I dislike passing this kind of tag to anyone) any kind - and t’s probably pretty appropriate to start my 2008 responding to Eight things that you did not know about me.

1. I love designs and architecture. On my spare time, I’d browse around bookstore, standing there with a cuppa for hours flipping pages of houses, kitchens & interior designs. Nice buildings and designs is causing me to feel more at peace. I believe that Architecture reflects so much about how we feel toward the space we inhabit.
2. I’m chicken shit. I could never be able to ride a rollercoaster. No matter how much you pay me.
3. I assumed am diabetic. Chances are that I’ve inherited it from my Father but I love chocolates. As what people say, to keep being healthy, a good start is to skip potatoes, bread, and desserts or a bowl of rice or whatever as it could send the glucose up sharply. But I don’t think it’s the absolute overall solution so why is that I always crave for more ice cream and cans of coca-cola after a meal? I should start a year with at a balanced diet, and the proportions I’m eating that are recommended: Carbs 55% of calories, fats 25%, protein 20%, and get 30-35g of fiber daily. I’m dying - dying to eat more dimsums.
4. I don’t know how to drive. Ok, I don’t drive. I’ve always think that driving is very close to death. I hate being controlled by machines. I don’t have and never want to have a driver’s license. When I was in High School, I couldn’t wait until I turn 18 to get my driver’s license and start driving (anyway in Bicol during that time, no one needs a license as long as you have a car). But somehow it never happened. In Hong Kong, I’d either like to walk from Central to Causeway Bay (talking about 1 hour) because there’s no way to drive a car when public transport is everywhere. It is so convenient that wherever you look, there’s the McDonalds, 7-11, trains, toilets & malls.
5. I got this thick face singing in public (or in many cases, online) no matter how bad my voice is, it’s the easiest way to release my emotions. Our feelings remain within us until we release them. Remember, more practice (and I’m trying) makes it perfect.
6. I am snob, I strongly agree. At least 56% of it is likely to balance my other part as being cool. This does not, of course, mean that my life consists of only brown-nosing. But yes, I like going out of my way not to piss off someone. And for that matter, I like going out of my way not to piss on someone, either.
7. I have what is commonly known as ‘temper’.
8. I am frigid as cold as stone. No matter how I grieve for someone, I never really cry at the funerals. I was caught smiling at the camera when my grandfather died. I was 6 that time. I only cried when my father died eight years ago and when my Mother was sent in the hospital for her major operation.

probably yahoo fooked up the legit emails again. I’ll check again.Oh you sent it via contact form on this blog. Oh my, that’s an expensive hardware for recordings. Wow I didn’t know you were in the band? No wonder you have a great sounding voice. I’m like it’s a very serious investment, I would have to ask my brother as they pretty much into these stuff than me. I think they have this in Tom Lee music shop (huge selection of instruments) where we buy guitars, drum sets, amps and subwoofs for our younger brother in Bicol. Thanks for the links.
