Imagine life without can openers

December 21, 07

can opener

We would be like monkeys with coconuts, not being able to get our favorite tuna, sardines in tomato or even that Campbell’s soup. But ahhh people have survived in the past without a can opener, how can we forget? Imagine your house without a can opener, I’d bet life would be very different.

What to do? A kitchen knife does the trick. Everything was going great until…. then what happens? It’s like eating a chicken soup without a chicken in your bowl, innit?

I’m starving.

That’s cool. Never thought that a kitchen knife would work. Though imagining without a can opener would be possible because we didn’t have one until the 50s. :P

I learned that in school during our camping days using the knife but I just thought, I live in a city full of hi-tech goodies then why not with the can openers?

Masel, Cinta J? Eversince they did the upgrade of the said resto, di na ako parati dun. Symepre upgraded na rin presyo so why not just go to Mang Ambo or Quezon Pinoy and buy a lunch box diba?

I stick to can goods kasi wala ng nag tatawag on weekends, diba? Wala na din si Treena cooking paella, wala na din si Isay to cook something, wala na din sina Robson to cook sinigang, ikaw di ka naman nag luluto, sina Bob & Soy, minsan minsan na lang kami sa Dan Ryan’s. So it’s like why go out and spend if no barkadas?

Asar nga, wala na rin si bespren para mag Cinta J, nasa ‘tate na diba?

Dibale, free pa naman ang cafeteria namin sa work.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, Masel. First time mo ba dyan? Enjoying the weather ba? Boots! Gloves! Regards.

I use alot of canned tomatoes at this time of the year and i would rather go without tomatoes if I had to open a can with a knife for fear of cutting myself. Opening a can of Ligo with a nigh in the morning would be a pain in the neck!
