I didn’t think it will happen so early

So much so that I’ve only just remembered that the day before yesterday was December payday. And that would mean, there’s this negative effect to my expenses. I’m figuring out bills and expenses for the next few weeks as payday coincides with New Year as well.
This month ‘end’ has been the worst for a long time - probably because it’s tough for the accounts department to keep everyone feeling anti-social on the coming holidays so the auditors needs to clear this months actual audit so the payday arrived earlier.
Of course those who live in reality know that this is truly happening. This has me worried in which obviously by the end of December, I’m down to sardines money until my next pay day.
Plus the fact that once-inna-while my landlord becomes crappy and like most everyone I believe has experienced something unpleasant in dealing with landlords but he’s thinking as if I was going to run away, pack up my bags and leave without paying the rents. I missed to pay 5 days after the due date, I know that but apparently it’s making me panicky when he texted me, “if you don’t pay until Monday, go pack your things and return the flat to me”. Shark. And before that, can I demand for a new toilet bowl? After three years, the repair and maintenance from the contract which I’d sign didn’t happen. At some stage I know that every property will need repairs to be carried out whether it is planned or otherwise. Doesn’t he know that a contract includes repair budgets? If he’s not being FAIR with me, I’d be EQUALLY unfair with him too. Oh maybe the next thing I know, he’d just want to kick me out anytime so he can charge a lot more for the place to the next tenant.
‘Nuff said.
Btw I wasn’t the only one turning the air blue today, even our manager managed a few choice words. This can’t be happening. I hate to burst my bubble but I’m thinking now that I’m going to be invincible in a few days until Christmas so that no one would bug asking me for a good old fun called, “party”.
I’m in the national feeling of doom and gloom.
aww, k. hope things turn out ok with you and your landlord. ganyan pala ka-harsh ang mga landlords dyan. hehe. hey, merry christmas! hope you have a good one
Ris, totally a headache. Hindi pwedeng palampasin - everything here is fast, if you can’t catch up fast enough, sorry ka na lang. It wasn’t a threat naman, just a reminder lang I think.
Merry Christmas to you too.
