it’s all about the taxis, billboards, sidewalks, cinemas, zebra lines, lights, sounds, people, skyscrapers and shopping malls.

Look, the tags are everywhere. I have now answered at least five this month. I am now officially wearing the “I AM POPULAR” price “tag” at the back of my shirt. Considered myself lucky. Well, I’d like to make it super short but can’t. YES, I am complaining. Just kidding.

From Rho.

I - Five Things. I wanted to take a picture of these items but I opted not to reveal them so therefore I’m giving only a list.

5 Things Found In My Bag

  • Alcogel - I always want my hands SARS-free. I got so paranoid after the outbreak so wherever I go, it goes.
  • Samsung PDA phone - gadgetry necessities.
  • House keys and coin pouch - I don’t know why I’m keeping a lot of coins when I only walk for work all the time.
  • Armani sunglasses - for 8 years and it’s still looking good.
  • Marc Jacobs 50ml perfume - purchased five months ago. I always want to smell fresh.
  • 5 Things Found In My Wallet

  • HK$60.00 - I don’t have plenty. Not afraid of pickpocketters, just don’t have enough money.
  • A couple of plastics - Die! Die! Die!
  • Staff ID - I swear love it. I look so young 15 yrs ago. Never should I ever change it.
  • HK ID card - it’s a hi-tech card with security chips so that once a Police officer approached assuming I am a member of the notorious gang member, they would know how much money I have left in the bank. Literally. My ID picture looks like a crying chihuahua. Seriously.
  • Grocery receipts & ATM receipts

5 Things Found In My Room

  • An old bulky SHARP TV - I want to throw them away. It takes so much space.
  • A small aquarium - with tiny golden fishes(es). They’ve ‘grown’ so fast. These bastards eats like little piranhas. Do they ever sleep or what?
  • 4 cushions on my stinky couch - I sleep on and off my loft. I love how I rest my feet on the arm-rest.
  • My Baby Safari - need to ask?
  • Whisky (Chivas Regal) - I don’t drink this, I just bought it (for guests).
  • 5 Things I’ve Always Wanted To Do

  • To learn how to cook without burning my hands.
  • To leave HK soon and never return (goodbye tax loans).
  • To buy a BIG HOUSE and plane tickets for my family, ALL.OF.THEM (probably next year, I mean the tickets not the house).
  • To design in an expensive brand store in HK. Then again, I’d better enjoy shopping instead.
  • To visit Europe to see the beautiful Palaces or Australia to see the Kangaroos (not to eat them).
  • 5 Things I’m Currently Into

  • Wordpress Plugins, Widgets, FTP, CSS, Templates - just reading and admiring the works of geeks.
  • Copying a thousand of Hed Kandi, IBIZA CD music to my iTunes.
  • Cleaning the closets to put away my summer clothes and HELLO! winter jackets and sweatshirts.
  • Answering and dialing people who cares for me.
  • NOT eating rice. SALADS and Soup are the next big sense this season.
  • From Marni, not just one but two.

    II - Three Things I Won’t - Never - Can’t Let Go.

WON’T - My izzue short rugged jeans. Although I have been using it for weeks, I’d never really cared to put them aside for washing. It doesn’t smell like yukkidoodle, I just think I’m comfortable wearing it. Rain or Shine. Winter or Typhoon. Day or Night. But don’t give me the impression I don’t change my underwear, because I change it twice a day. Think, eh kung may naiiwan na ebak sa puwet anoh? Bugris!

NEVER - Blogging. Period. Ok for now at least. Music. Imagine the world without them? I’d be so sad eventhough I can’t sing a lick (ok I tried) or play any instruments, it’s part of my life. Asus.

CAN’T - Memories. I have seen a lot and met hundreds of nice people. Dozens who have become lifelong friends even if they are not around (HELLO, WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE? Magparamdam!). The old bench. The old familiar faces. The provincial life. Through it all are stored between my ears, something that will trigger in my head and memory comes back. I am now adding the great people that I meet on here. If it loads up, I will have to plug a memory card in my left ear so that I don’t run out of capacity.

[Mindset] I WANT to let go of so many other things - to rest my eyes away for a while - that has tied in me for several years of my life - then change everything instantly. I may be leaving them and other things besides, but I am not saying goodbye because nobody really closes the door, innit? Things will keep coming back for reasons, only my heart would know. I don’t want to control things, it won’t happen overnight, specially things that I won’t probably find in Mars.

III - Three Things I Am Addicted To

This was a little tough to do. Since my new digital cam is now in good hands back in Bicol (I am a very generous person), I was hoping the picture, taken from my 2.0 megapixel Samsung, despite the lack of flash, would give it justice. It turned out okay naman. The drill however is to write three addictions, write them in a paper journal or any kinds of paper (tissuepaper would be nice) visibly or whatever to show off your “3 things I’m addicted to” in your own handwritings.

Three ThingsI made a similar “game” like this last year and it turned out pretty well actually. I’d asked people to list down at least things that made them addicted to and as-a-matter-of-factly, after much of deliberation, I have compromised to even kill one of them - to kill my cigarette addiction.

Giving up smoking is a big thing. I know that. But the lack of preparation is one of the most common reasons for lapsing, so I’ve been taking my time to make sure that I am physically, mentally and emotionally ready.

I am still on the process, because it’s NOT.EASY. But I’m getting in there, just that, it’s “On and Off”. I like to act on it and practice it. So I’m not isolating myself not to share it with everyone. It’s better to let my feelings out verbally, as I quit smoking. Whoelse can do it except myself, right? RIGHT.

Ok, I am giving all these TAGS to rest. I’m ending it here so no more ‘pass-me-the-sugar-add-more-salt’ for everybody. I’m kidding. Of course I want to pass it on. Considering it’s the HALLOWEEN, I’d be anti-social because apparently, the rest of the family will be celebrating the 7th year Death Anniversary of my Dad.

But whoever wants to play this game, grab it. NOW.

Wind, I read/reply to blogs in the office minsan. If sa bahay naman wala akong masagap na connections, I just let it pass muna - at kung meron akong gustong isulat at di ako maka-acces, I’d write it down sa Word as draft muna.

Cheh, di naman masyado, hehehe. I find it easier, too personal pero it’s a tag, so generic na sa akin yung game. Pero stuff toys lang ang pwedeng pagsabihan ng “cute”. Di ako yun.

Dicey, I honestly feel I’d make LC proud if they hire me. I used to know the Managing Director at LC before (she was our former client) and the concept of their shop designs come from UK (obviously). If you visit LC in IFC mall, go to the music section, you can now use iPod to try their music (and I thought you knew that already).

There are plenty of shops right uphill (SOHO) in Central, small but edgy - actually the area there is so Notinghill, don’t you think?

You know what, I still carry my HKID even if I am out of HK. They are very useful! Every time somebody asks for identification, I just flash it and voila! it works like an FBI badge :)

Don’t fret on giving up smoking. My husband has tried and failed so many times. I know it is not an easy task.

I wish you can buy not only the tickets but the house as well for your family :) malay mo di ba? sa christmas!

Duke, maybe ten years from now, yung HK ID maging “credit card” na rin. I’ve been thinking to report it stolen para mapalitan lang yung “chihuahua-looking” picture ko dun pero, kahit na - di na talaga magbabago mocca ko.

Think, Mark Six baka manalo. Care to give me a set of six numbers again? Di ba nahingi ako sayo nung nagbubuntis ka? Talo, pero malay mo this time..

hi K, i just finished another tag game, too.. but like joy said, itong mga tags na ito is interesting kasi you get to learn more about people… my husband successfully gave up smoking dahil dumating ako sa buhay nya.. sabi nya it’s all in the mind daw. and his family was asking me, how i did it daw, his giving up smoking. sabi he did it by himself. kaya mo yan, K.

Duke, hehehe. I was thinking of using 14K pero, baka ma-block ang site. Just yesterday, my favourite shop G.O.D. was raided by police since their graphic designs are somewhat “iconic” (anything HK) they’d think the shop and the owner/designer are linked to Triads known as 14K (pieces of prints were sold in t-shirts and postcards in chinese characters). I think it was absurd. Some authorities here just lack common sense. I am a fan of the shop cuz their designs are unique and creative (remember my underwear that says “NO MORE DELAY”?) and thats’ that. Maybe the next thing you know, ni-ri-raid na rin ang YSL shop dahil they sell Opium perfume.
