But still on the process of updating – links, feeds, images, mp3, stats and ranking. Ranking? Seriously? It can wait.
MANY THANKS to the famous “Wordpress Theme” guru, Ms BENG HAFNER for hosting me the domain. She actually gave me this beautiful prize last year but I haven’t thought of using it just yet because honestly, blogging with Wordpress is very addicting. I’ve actually fainted this afternoon trying to read, learn, delete everything on the FTP and Dashboard.
I thought it’s easy. It never was. Yet, I am nearly there. Take a look.
I want the new blog really simple. Apparently, there’s still the ‘drag-click-and-drag’ action that I like on the ‘Dashboard’ but seriously, it’s pretty confusing like, “you are now on your own, so do it right”.
Now, I feel like a NEW-BIE all over again. So what do you think? Any suggestions?

Nye. I started writing blog during the time that my mom was diagnosed with cancer and needed to keep my mind focused. I spent many hours sitting with her while she rested, therefore had plenty of time to read Thai magazines and found many interesting articles that I thought others might be interested in reading, and that’s when it all started. My mom passed away in early January of this year, and here I am, still translating and still spending many of my sleepless nights writing; it helps me deal with my loss and still be focused.

Hi Marni, you can keep one, your choice. wp.com account will remain active. For now, I’m settling in here to get used to the functionality. This is pretty much it, still looking for simple theme out there. Thanks.

Marni, hahahaha you still remember? I think it was in blogdrive where I mastered HTML and NO-right click function. I enjoyed my short time (2003) there. I still visit and re-post old entry right here and there.

Hi Ron, hahaha kahit alin, bale yung wp.com account for back up purposes na lang muna (images, widgets, etc). I don’t know kung “ilang forever na taon” ang gamit ko ng account na to, pero I know naman Ate Beng has a good heart, she will let me have this as long as na I use it to entertain everyone, kaya “feeling Angel” ako ngayon hahahaha.
Can you help me with my audio mp3 sliding player? All my music entry just as if “came out from the closet”.
sure ano ba problem mo? just make sure na na configure mo yung player. my setting dun sa “How do you want to use the audio player?” is the “replace syntax”. i just use [audio:mp3 location] to embed the audio.
Ron, that’s exactly the code I’m using. I found out that mp3 files would only work if stored on the root of the directory, so I think it’s the reason why it won’t play. The mp3 files I use are filed from my online archive so it won’t embed in the player eventhough the mp3 url link are correct. It’s actually the Wordpress Audio Player plugin. Dibale I will use java flash player na lang. Thanks.
Have you tried using the XSPF mp3 player? it can play mp3 files from where ever your online archive is. it’s flash-based. I tried it before and ok naman coz u can tinker with the source code to get it to look the way you want. :) I also have some flash source files for mp3 players but you have to edit it to match your site.

I give up na talaga. I can’t. Thing is, my old posts shows an ugly links to the mp3 file, I had like a dozen bunch of posts to remove and change but I don’t wanna do that – I’ll leave them as is na lang. My format of posting depends now on my theme. Thanks, Ron.
