I got MUG-ged

mugs1. Taz Ah - This idea is so sweet, that everyone we have seen so far instantly started smiling!

At plain sight it is a very reduced and elegant white bone china mug, very thin, very high quality.

Probably not unlike many of the other white mugs you already have. But lift it up and – ha – surprise… Dishwasher safe and everything… Source: Charles & Marie

mugs2. The Mocha Dunk Mug - The dual purpose Dunk Mug is a C&M favorite and a fun addition to any bedtime snack ritual. The Sunday Express calls this clever mug “a must-have for every cookie lover.” We concur. A hidden cookie compartment allows you to sip coffee or tea and nibble on your favorite sweets with minimal cleanup. Cookie plates are a thing of the past for us. Take special notice of the white earthenware which lends a solid feel and attractive appearance. Source: Charles & Marie

mugI love mugs, funny because I have accumulated about a dozen in my tiny shelves, most of them are freebies from people who L.O.V.E.’s me because I’m nice, so they say.

The one I treasured the most was from Sha and it says “GREECE”. But I constantly buy them whenever I see something cheap that I like. The funny part is, I ocassionally drink coffee and everytime I finish one, I’d grab another mug until I got dozen of them on the sink.

So if you’re looking for a nice gift this Christmas, a cool mug isn’t a bad idea really. Cheers!

you collect mugs? What about dust? You could do the thing they do with comics - get some plastic sleeve of some sort. But there aren’t any plastic sleeves for mugs so I guess you have to improvise there. Though I love mugs that have funny sayings on them. It’s so hard to find some here in Australia.

nakakatawa yung mug na may ilong at baba sa may surface. cute! good idea talaga at pang general na gift. mostly binigay talaga yan pang exchange gift. i still use a mug from a college bestfriend during our graduation. ginagamit ko pa rin hanggang ngayon sa office.

I love white bone coffee mug, I use mine everyday at work, if you heat it up in the microwave before pouring your coffee into it, the coffee actually tastes better.

I enjoyed looking at the “mug shots”. :) I personally don’t collect mugs. But I’ve got a lot of them though, mostly christmas freebies with various company logos. haha.

Wendy, I literally don’t collect, just so happened I love mugs and probably someone who knows that I do, they give me the same exact thing every Xmas time. Not bad.

Ron, I think the only problem with that mug is that you end up picking the cookies on the floor everytime you raise and drink your coffee. Sayang naman diba?

Redlan, mmm I think your friend did a ‘hokus-pokus” na may kasamang “magic” sa mug kaya di mo na mapalit-palitan, hehehe.

Ginger, I’ve never done that. Do you think it’s safe?

Marni, that’s why I find the comfort visiting IKEA and G.O.D. because of these mugs. I had one from IBM, it says “THINK BIG”.

Yes it’s safe to heat your mug, restaurants do this all the time, that’s why their coffee tastes better than the one at home, also some restaurants would also heat up the plate for hot food, or fridge the one for salad. As for coffee mug, I normally heat it for about 40 second, try it but make sure your mug said dishwasher safe; I think you’ll like it.

Ginger, after looking at my mugs, it says “safe”. Opps, I forgot, I ran out of instant 3-in-one coffee. Now DCC (direct connect chat) me those chocolates and muffin so I can enjoy my laid back Tuesday.

The only one considered a “high class” mug is the china one with the white background and the flowers; I have to be very careful when it comes to using it :D

Uh oh…I forgot, di na pala kita aasarin ng hello kitty. :D

Kofi, I want 1 large Caramel Macchiato in a mug, no sugar but ask to put more skimmed milk. Kuha mo na din ako ng napkin, damihan mo (para i-uwi ko) and a cheesecake, plain lang. Thanks ha? Utusan ba daw? Hehehe.

Virgil, Chinawares, I prefer those tiny cup for my Jasmine tea. You can find a set of wares really cheap around here, tourists buy those for souvenirs.

Chuva, hahaha I actually thought about that, wala ho akong mahanap na Hello K mug sa flickah. Sabi ng Nanay ko, to ‘refuse an offer is a big insult’, send me an email nga so I can give you my mailing address. Seriously.

Ms Chuva, I am not kidding. I have time for jokes and I have time for seriousness and I have time to bribe at people, hahahaha.

Kenks, sunglasses mug? Nag-iiba ang kulay? Can I find that in the internet? Now I’m curious.

i mean, mug sya pero design nya sunglasses; tapos kapag nga nag iba yung temperature nung ilagagay mo - kung mainit or super lamig — biglang mag eemote yung sunglasses. ganda. di ko ma remember, pero sabi nung hubby ko binili daw nya as souvenir during the buddy holly musical e. di ko na makita dito sa bahay e, baka asa pinas na. kung maliligtas ko sya sa mga galamay dun, am gonna send it to you. pramis yan… now bribe me, hehehe

2007-10-12 05:04:19

sige, K, regalohan kita ng mug pag nagkita tayo with your picture pa. ang asawa ko rin mahiling din sa mugs kasi when he does the dishes, he often breaks it. galit pa kasi kung bakit daw we put real tiles on kitchen floor.

Kenks, I’m waiting but no rush - kukulitin na lang kita in case you forgotten. Thanks in advance.

Belle, I am serious but NO i don’t like the idea of my picture in a mug. I got that one here, I was actually in my chinese Chong-sam. Pramis yan ha? Wuhooo I’m gonna love it.
