I am a Green Crayon. Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors. While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around. Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible - and you try to make others feel at ease. You’re very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows! Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you.

I am going to make an experiment by painting the walls of my Apartment in green or whatever color I wish to choose. As I browse along at the Apartment Therapy site, I was inspired with this Fall Colors in blue wallpaper. “When I set up my craft room, I wanted a space that was full of energy and would inspire me to create. I love this aqua/Tiffany blue-ish color. Every time I walk in the room it makes me smile”, the owner said.

I guess my blogging habits will be at halt at this time. I need more time to really decide to start this “brushing project”. Mmmm this is gonna be fun. So with this in mind, I will have the need to focus my creative abilities and where I want to focus my life in general before I can turn this blog into black. I suppose this is the point of my blog to figure out who I am and what I want.

Enough of this procrastination and - or fighting the inevitable. If you see me leaving comments in your blog, doesn’t mean I’m back. Don’t miss me, maybe it’ll just be forrawhile, days, weeks, months - Ohnoes!

Diane, I actually think that changing color of walls can lift your spirit a bit, even more when I am the only one in my Apartment, I can do whatever I want wit the four walls. One that I avoid is the kitchen.

Chuvash, do you, really? Good.

Sha, reading my post just now, I thought to myself, ‘Have I done this before’? Di ko nga alam mag halo ng tinner with the paint, hahaha. I need to ask a permission pa from my landlord if it’s ok to use green over the white walls (that makes me nauseated), parang di ko ata kaya to even derust the walls and give it a coat of some paint. Help me?

Your world is colored with happy, warm, fun colors.
You have a thoughtful and wise way about you. Some people might even consider you a genius.
Charming and eloquent, you are able to get people to do things your way.
While you seem spontaneous and free wheeling, you are calculating to the extreme.

oh thats me

Wind, totoo? Baka ibang “green” yan. Share.

Marni, lavender is something warmth, beauty, friendship and respect for others. Hah, that’s a very “earthly issues”

Sha, I think yellow represents as a color-genius. You know those times when you come across on something so cool that makes you just get “no words”? I believe you have this charming attitude that can make a person laugh or dance or even create a bubble of breathable air around a person’s head.

I’ll pick on the McChicken crunch and an ice tea.

Cheh, I guess everyone didn’t notice, I suppose I’m grinding this blogging to a halt but it seems like everyone’s pulling my legs off. What to do? Yeah, kapeng barako, pwede?

Hi K, it’s strange how we’d say one thing but really means something else; must be that time in your life that you need to take a step back, changing your surrounding might be a good thing, but it’s the inside that’s needing some reconciliation. I love reading your blog and would hate it if you quit blogging. Sometimes you don’t realize this, but you give so much to your readers, obviously they love your blog, your stats show.

What I mean to say is that my favorite color is blue. ;)

Hi Ginger, thanks. Seriously, in general I regard traffic as irrelevant to my blogging habits. I noticed that I’ve been blogging on a regular basis now and somehow it can drain your head for a while. Well, It doesn’t really matter how many people (I think only a few) are reading my posts but engaging with some of you in comments is something, I believe is much smarter strategy than posting frequently. I know that I have a few people (including you) whom I regards as loyal reader, they read not because I post frequently.

I mean I really want to re-arrange stuff in my Apartment, if I can’t make it “green”, at least I’ve had some other things to do without the pressure of thinking what’s the next to blog about. Don’t worry, I’m still reading everyone (if not in my Mac, I’d be in the office).

I think blogging can take over our life if we let it. Since I write for 2 blogs, I’ve to always be thinking about things to write, I find myself doing a lot of research also, which is good for me mentally, and I took your advice, don’t force it. I think I’m a lot happier blogging now, but I only blog at night and try to stay away from the computer during the weekend, being out, but not necessary mingle with people really help, as for me, visiting my dad and sister every weekend. What works, we’ve to be balanced in what we’re doing, and too much of anything is not good. I only blog if I have a story to share. Whether you blog or not, I still have good thoughts about you.

2007-10-05 04:04:41

I noticed it ofcourse but silly you,you can only put this blog on hiatus mode two weeks maximum. That’s it period! ganun eh!lol

But seriously dear K!Take your time wag mo lang tagalan na tipong aagiwin ang ebahay mo!malulungkot ako ala akong maaasar!hehe

I gravitate toward earth tones. I’m not sure I could handle such dramatic colours!

Cheh, parang ayaw ko na tuloy mag hibernate. Ok, I will give it a try and see if I can really put green.

Jon and perhaps just to scare off some friends. Thanks for the visit.

Funny but the first and third picture is reminiscent of my room. Everything’s Green and Orange there. Green part’s mine, my sister’s side is orange. Just like the pots and pans there. That exact same color!

love the color! i haven’t look at green as something attractive, but this shade sure catched my attention. it’s one happy color =)

I love green but my colour is actually blue. But green is indeed relaxing to the eyes and i love those pics that you showed to us as examples.

hmm, our walls are mostly cream. but that apple green looks inviting, would it cover kaya the chalk marks and sticky chocolatey fingers paints of kids…

Kofi, oh my goodness, don’t tell me it’s going to remind me about you everytime I stare at my green-colored walls? Talking about erotic… my friends in college puno ng naked photos of artista ang room nila sa bo-ho .. hahaha.

Nell, to think I am a green-minded person, this one matches my sexual fantasies.

Charles, blue represents the extremes of the calm feelings. In many other cultures it is believed to keep the bad spirits away. Since you’re engaged with Odd, this represents love.

Kenks, well it can turn into an interactive wallpaper. I like the idea of kids handwritings on wallpaper and that’s art na rin diba?

Hello K!

Just paying a visit. What a coincidence. I remember when I suggested to you on my blog regarding visiting Europe. Well, I know that you already have something in your mind. I haven’t read if you’re off for a vacation but maybe, just maybe, you need a vacation somewhere, not inside the 4 walls of your room, not the break you have in your mind right now… painting your walls?! Hehehe… Take a break K, take a Kitkat! :)
Who is this Sofie telling me what to do? Mwehehe…

K
2007-10-05 21:03:37

Hi Sofie, thanks for the suggestions. I think I really need a “blog-vacation”, sometimes when I have come up with a great blog idea while doing something completely random, such as taking a shower or watching a movie, I could never resist but to go online. Seems like I have blown off an important task, such as making a deadline, ignores important calls, because I was blogging.

And Yes, Europe is a nice place to visit.

ang gayon palan ning green wall, presko sa mata. blue magayon man. though if i were to paint my house, i’d go for pastel colors because they are easy on the eyes. to each his own, i guess, pero ang agom ko, light beige ang gusto sana kaan because he is thinking resale value.

good luck on the painting and make sure to take pictures to share with us. ako, bihira man mag blog ta i do yard work on my day off, walk after work, and do yoga on some days. in other words, i am too busy so maogma na ako kung makapost ako one blog a day. i do my blog hopping on Saturday evening because i don’t have to get up early in the morning to go to work.

2007-10-07 10:57:37
