There is something to be said for loyalty. In fact, there is much to be said for it, especially in these days of such a huge lack of that. And once again I am a loyal person, even to this blog.
Yesterday, I gave up washing a tiny load of dishes from my tiny kitchen because I was a bit intrigued with other themes in this oh-so-limited Wordpress for an Autumn feel. Sadly, there was nothing much to choose except for the new Digg 3 Column theme that I flirted for several hours comparing it with the Freshy theme one of each other.
Yet, for 7 hours, I couldn’t decide which one to take, so I went back to my usual Ben Gray’s Unsleepable for refuge because none of the several themes gives a bit of personality for myself. There’s nothing wrong with the themes I mentioned, is just that it looks crowded for extra widgets. I am a loyal person so I won’t cheat again Ben, unless you can come up a similar Theme like this, so please make one, will you? I like the simplicity of it.
I am also a loyal with rubber slippers, that’s why I don’t go to social function very often. Flip flops are the coolest form of footwear ever invented. In my province during my teens, I have actually been using rubber flip flops for quite a long time. And I think it is the best footwear to wear in third world countries where the climate is warm. Men and women of all ages wear flip flops everyday. I remember, I used to buy the “Dove”, it’s a very soft rubber slippers that easily gets dirty after awhile - it’s good for the beach but nowadays, flip flops popularity has reached far beyond the beach, then I’m stucked wearing my Havaianas even on winter months. But why is it more popular and fashionable? I believe the number one reason is that they’re so comfortable.
Surprisingly, I am the most loyal with my job. I’ve been an employee for almost 15 years now and I’m proud of it. I think being an Aquarian is that, I don’t ask for a raise, for me they are less important, so I tend to stay in a stagnant position. I would only hope no to get too bored or I will simply find another job as easily as finding one that is easy to spot. It isn’t that I am overly ambitious but I could probably be doing a better job, it’s just that I think people in our Administration should know better. Do you think I should tell them? I think it’s not too late.
Nobody likes a backstabber, right? If you choose me as your friend, I can be very loyal. Sometime ago, I had a friend who backstabbed me for no reason. I am not a confrontational person but I can somewhat be very impatient at times. I am a good listener, not that I don’t have to agree with most of them, I think that those people who stick with me are the same person who happened to be so far away from me. We may not be together everyday, for as long as we still remembers each other, it’s the thoughts that counts. And I think that’s sweet. We don’t really have to spend a lot of money to be a good friend. I’d be thankful for your gifts but the best gifts are often hand-made and come from the heart. Right?
Right. I think I am pretty much loyal to this blogging, which means I am loyal to my readers. I wouldn’t be writing fresh entries here and there if I’m not. And eventhough blogging takes a lot of my time, and because obviously I am a full time blogger, infact my ideal frequency of number of post I actually do is one post per day. If you think it’s as shame to say that my kind of hobby nowadays is “Oh, I blog a lot”, what’s exciting is that, I gain friends. Seriously, I am not really good at writing vs the ones that blogs as part of their job. Well doesn’t everyone is a writer in their own little ways? As you can see, I am a loyal with flickr and music. I try to bend it with music and pictures, it’s like as if you’re watching a movie, there’s the action, a bit of drama and comedy and I think that’s part of entertainment.
Best of all, I am the most loyal person to my family. The quality of love and loyalty for our family is something that we can never take for granted. I believe that the families that survive are those where loyalty is practiced personally by each person. All of us can blame television for being partially destructive to our own values. And sometimes we can blame the economy for making things financially difficult for us at home, but when it comes to preventing the family from going bad, there is no greater virtue than personal loyalty to our family.
I think I can earn an award for this. So, how loyal are you, really?

I don’t know, I’m too embarrassed to say nice stuff about myself, you got me beat on your job, I’ve only been here a bit over 11 years, I love what I’m doing, and people are nice to me mainly because they need my help, but I know one wrong move, they’ll back stabbed me, that’s how people are in this days and age, you know their face but not their heart and intention. I’m the type of person that keep my promise, even to stranger, I don’t know if that’d qualify as being loyal.
as for me, i’m a very loyal person, too! loyal sa family, sa partner, sa kaibigan, sa brand ng bag (hehe). basta, once napakitaan ako ng fidelity, ganun din ang sukli ko.
yung blog theme ko hindi ko rin mapalitan. masyado na akong nag-depend sa kanya, hehe! i think i like the freshy theme, cute siya. wala lang akong magandang photo for the header.
Ginger, honestly, I am a very loyal friend but I am guilty of other things too like whenever I see friends on my caller display, I can’t resist but answer the phone right away. Once a family member call me, I sometimes let my answering machine get the call and I am guilty when I do that.

Kofi, trudats. I can’t even believe it myself. When I was starting nearly five years, I feel like quitting already. It seems like I’m stucked with the same routines. Then I gave myself another 5 yrs, the more I say it, the more I can’t let go. My goal was to earn, save, shop and enjoy life (I was younger so ok lang before), pero now that I’m getting older, siguro, I’ll stick to the job na lang that pays me just enough to survive I thought it was easier and cheap to be a single person, mahirap din pala. My retirement year with the company siguro mga 2010. Tingnan natin….

Marni, ako ba talaga yun? How nice to hear. I don’t know, maybe am just easily attracted with people with a good spirit, I’ll stick to them no matter what. In blogging, it’s always easy for us to say and leave comments, sometimes I don’t leave comments just for the sake of commenting, pero it’s my way of communicating with people and I think for me it’s very influential to leave comments to those I feel comfortable with. I admire the way you write that’s why.
hahahaha. just kidding! ikaw yun no! and I love it that you make meaningful comments. Blogging is such a harsh world sometimes. (would you believe pati walang kwentang blog description ko may kumuha?? ) But it’s people like you that makes it worthwhile. People who take the time to read the entries. Rare kasi yun nowadays.
