I got this somewhere and I didn’t leave myself a note to that blog, so I don’t know whom to give credit to this. Regardless, here’s my weekend meme, with no recognizable theme:
1. When was the last time you washed your hair?
A few hours ago at fifteen minutes to one.
2.What were you doing at 8 o’clock this morning?
Sleeping with my hands under my boxer, I think.
3. What were you doing 15 minutes ago?
Singing at Singsnap, just another Karaoke online.
4. Are you any good at math?
I hate to admit, but even the conversion of HK dollars to the US dollars sounds very easy, I still use a calculator. So I am not good.
5. Are you mad at anyone right now?
I’m not real happy with my current position at my job.
6. Do you know the words to your current favorite song?
I think it would be, “The Mating Game” by Bitter:Sweet. “Hold me close enough to drink my rose. The devil in my pocket turned to gold. Sorry to warn you, you’re in a daze. Tonight I’ll love you, but tomorrow go away”.
7. Last thing received in mail?
Yesterday, an invitations from Sha for FaceBook and Duke for Zebo. I still can’t decide.
8. How many different drinks have you had today?
Only one — Sprite in can, thirst quencher.
9. Do you ever leave messages on people’s answering machine?
Yeah, I just left a message to my own cellphone, to see if my voicemail actually works. It’s been months when nobody even dares to call me to say “hello”. If only not for the alarm clock, I could still use my phone without even thinking of using the battery charger. Sad.
10. Any plans for tonight?
As I write this, it’s now 50 minutes past the hour of three in the morning. Maybe later this evening, I’m going to the grocery and buy a toothpaste.
11. Do you draw your name in the sand when you go to the beach?
A smiley with an initial “K”.
12. What’s the most painful dental procedure you’ve had?
When my dentist friend pulled my dead bite-tooth by this nipper-looking tool. I mean she injected anesthesia around the gums, but after a few hours later, it felt as if I just had taken an ecstacy pill.
13. What’s outside your front door?
An IKEA doormat.
14. Do you have plans on Friday?
I don’t usually call it “Friday Night”. I can be in bed or in a computer wasting my time watching series of TV shows over at TV links.
15. Do you like the ocean?
Yes, very much but it’s always nice to be on the top of the mountain watching the beautiful view of the ocean.
16. Have you ever received one of those big tins of 3 different popcorns?
None that I can think of.
17. Have you ever been to a planetarium?
Yes, last month. It was raining and I got nowhere to go, instead I headed to the egg-shape dome HK Space Museum for a free pass in queue trying to maneuver the MoonWalk-like machine and felt a zero gravity like as if I was walking in the moon.
18. Something you are excited about?
To see a beautiful sun in the morning, few hours from now, hopefully.
19. Who around you has the most problems?
It would be me. I realized that most people are not perfect, including myself.
20. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive?
Aren’t great-grandparents just older versions of grandparents? Then, none.
21. Describe your love life.
I’m lack of it. I needed someone around since I was 27. Any takers?
22. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group of people?
Yesterday, It’s kind of my job.
23. Do you like anyone right now?
My tiny golden ‘fishes(es)’ in a tiny fish-square bowl. Aren’t they the cutest creature ever? Think, “Nemo”.
24. What was the weather like on your birthday?
Almost perfect. Only if I celebrated it with someone special.
25. Do you sleep with the door open or closed at night?
I don’t sleep in a room. I sleep in my living room where my Loft is situated, of course the main door is closed.
26. If you could change your name, what would it be?
Something easy to pronounce. Perhaps, Anthony? It makes me feel like a Saint.
27. Do you like your middle name?
Sure, but I hate it when I’m filling up an income TAX return.
28. Who are you thinking about right now?
My family, specially my younger sister and the additional member of the family, my new niece.
29. Do you consider your best friends family?
Absolutely.
30. Favorite foods?
Pad-Thai, Thai Beef Salad and BBQ Pork Neck with plain rice, Choi Sum veggies and many more. I like to eat way more than I should.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Album: Koop Islands | Song: Come To Me
Artist: Koop - Koop means co-operation and come from a universe where Miles Davis never made Bitches Brew, replacing swing with funk, but instead double basses kept walking and jazz kept swinging all the way until the sampler arrived to chop it up. Read More.
i’m putting my vote in for FaceBook… only cuz i’m already on there.
Hi, J, it’s kinda giving me these thoughts like how am I gonna keep up with too many online communication. I might try it out when I’m finally tired with this blogging.
Thanks for the comment in my latest post. I am from Virac too; we’ve been nomads for years. We are finally rooted - in San Isidro. Good for you, you’re working in one of the Asia’s most affluent places. Me, I’m perpetually stuck in our island, still trying to discover new oceans.
Sain ka nag graduate? Ano apelyido mo?
Gerry I work here to save my ass and support the rest of my family back in Virac. If I were to tell you my ‘apelyido’ mabidbid mo tolos - but I’ll keep it a secret, not that I am hiding nor proud about it, it’s just that, I’d prefer not to say something more personal other than I have a two big moles on my face. Even my family doesn’t have to read this blog.
Well, I studied in CSC Lab during my HS and moved to Legazpi for my BS (Bachelor Science - not BS for Bull Shit, hahaha). Since then, pumunta na ako dito right after my college graduation. Mga ka HS batch ko sina Pat Alberto, Rachel Rojas o tibaad midbid mo sina Christina Verceles at saka si Grace Tubianosa. Mas younger ka ata sa amin.
I’ve been receiving many invi from facebook & some other net ring as well. And nope, I still didn’t sign up yet I’m such a KJ I know, it’s just that I’ve got no luxury of time to spend with all of them. And also I’m not chatting anymore. If only we can buy extra time I would buy some lol
Anyways, luv the photo! Lastly saint anthony, have a gorgeous weekend!:)
Actually Duke also invited me to join FB and some others. Like what you said, I DONT go to GROUP chats anymore (oh hell, in the first place why I’d been there - sobrang mayayabang ang TAO sa pinoy chat community, suffice to say) except for my family and some close friends via I’M of course, I get instant messages now thru my mobile.
Hahaha, St Anthony. May the Buddha Bless you this weekend, Cheh
sowwwwwy dahlin, just added yours as well.daanin mo ba naman ako sa takutan, hahaha
tlc
Bwahahaha Cheh, I beg to disagree. I was just kidding eh baka ma-attack ako ng mga Jo Malone haters anoh?
Hey K, I think Facebook is good. I’ve recently joined because of my wife and I’ve reconnected with some old friends this way.
This is fun to read, I use my cell phone for my alarm clock also, no one ever leave me a message, and I’ve not gone to an extreme of leaving one for myself yet. I found that I’ve the most problem also, I don’t understand why I have to have issues, why I can’t just say okay to everything. One thing that I’m good in is math. Have a nice weekend
Hi Range, I tried and decided not to use it for a while so I deactivated it right away. Maybe I’m just being a snub. I’ll try it again next time.
Ginger, because normal people have normal and common problems. The reason I don’t get calls is that I normally ignore those callers. If it’s my family, I get excited. Lately I noticed I am not the person I used to, age plays a great difference I guess. I am a very anti-social these days, really.
k, d2 na ako sa HK arrived at 8PM. Hit me an email kung may open sched ka so we can meet. D2 ko nakatira sa wanchai.
Just updated my latest post & pasted your awesome foto! alang ek ek yan ha ! I love it! Mag photoblog ka na kasi! kasi naman sa flickr I need to log in pa to leave comments, tamad tamad ko sa pag tayp ng password lol
hi K it took me months before i caved in to that face book it somehow linked me to old friends
anyway it can be addicitve as blogging but u can skip it…anthony does not suit you dear u need something more hip or perhaps something more classic not saintly
‘Wind, WELCOME TO HK. I read your “first day” HK entry. I sent you an email with my phone number. Atin atin lang to ha? I am not financially prepared, so kailangan TREAT mo AKO.
Cheh, saw it na. I like photoblogging, kaso I have a limited account at flickr. I’m trying to make use of the Zooomr account and one day, you’ll see mas magaling pa ako sa mga Pro-Pho’s so ingat na lang sila, hahaha. I still like the idea of using my camphone to take photos minsan tamad lang talaga akong mag upload. Many thanks Cheh.
Sha, promise, next time I will make use of FaceBook. Masyado ata akong hypocrite about getting in touch with old friends. I try to distant with my HS batch, na trauma ata ako dahil di pa rin mawala sa kanila yung “mas magaling ako, may honor ako” blah blah.
Ok, call me George.
George.. georgie.. no I want to call you Sebastien…not Sebastian or Alain….hi ho
Sebastien, that is so French but sounded Romans. I like Jean Paul too, no, I prefer something Japanese, Mikoto? Bansai?
I don’t think that you’re anti-social, more like you don’t have time or don’t want to entertain when you don’t have things in common with them. I’m that way sometimes.
