Prepare for some Havaianas

In few days, I’m expecting another torrential rain. It makes me want to dress up in white cargo shorts, white tee and that’s what actually happened today.
I’ve pretended it was sunny outside and while walking on my way to work, I accidentaly ’splat’ my foot on this crack tiles causing a big splash of dark watery sand and ruined my day. It wasn’t the crack tiles fault. It wasn’t the choice of white shorts. It wasn’t the rain either. It was my shoes. I should have worn a slipper. And don’t you just hate carrying a damn umbrellas?
I’m so looking forward for a sunny summer and wear something like this:

Don’t you Hate-to-Love-to-Hate the (wet) summer? The kind of weather that we’re experiencing now in Hong Kong doesn’t help me post enough. Waittaminnit, I post like everyday here, there must be something wrong. Well being indoor keeps me dry but somebody kindly make me interesting so that I have a reason to post something more interesting on here.
I need a “drunk” category in my list.

I went to Brasil las year on vacation, there were the most beautiful men in the world, and very cheap hawaianas. The fist night at the Copacabana Palace they gave us a pair, and I bougth two more pairs, somewere in another hotel they gave us a pair of white ones.

hmm… those sandal is really nice, and cute hehe!!! 80% of our time in Malaysia we wear this if we really can unless u get stuck in the office haiz…
hmm… my buddies’s bf might go to Brazil again maybe I should ask him to get me a few pair if possible sent u some as well. but not too sure when he is going

i’m not much into havaianas, although i don’t say no when people give them to me for free
those were really happy times! also, it doesn’t rain so often here so when it does, i’m reminded of home (pinas) where it rains almost half of the year. i’m just happier here kasi hindi uso ang baha, hehe.
actually, i love it when it rains. reminds me of the time when i was little and my siblings and I took rainbaths

Meeya, oonga reminds me yung nakahubad sa kalsada, naliligo sa ulan. Well dito rin they too, like the rains, di pa rin pinapatawad sina LV, GUCCI and Burberry. Tell me why? Kahit parang talsik lang laway ang ulan, puro sila nakapayong to show off the brands of their umbrellas.
i looove my havaianas! i wish i could wear them to work… it’s been so hot here lately. intensely. it’s so hard to think of things to wear. it’s freezing cold in the office but you have to contend with the heat when you go outside.

K, I would never buy havianas. I can’t even spell it correctly…HAVAIAnas..there! I would settle for something cheaper but prettier looking than that. Hehehe…what is good about those sandals? They are nothing but rubber flipflops with multicolored designs, di ba? And people are buying it for exorbitant price and making someone filthy rich. Tao nga naman. hehe.
I noticed when I went home, a lot of my friends were using brand name purses, watches, etc while I was wearing just a normal, durable bag. Know what? I was not embarrassed at all.
Dez, I remembered that. It’s good for everywhere, not just the beach. Di ba uso sa office nyo ang nagdadala ng chinelas while working on sa cubes desk nyo? I know a friend who hate wearing office shoes so nagbabaon sya nyan.
Belle, wow nice attitude there. I’m impressed. Well we call it, CHINELAS or “white doves”, “spartan” and remember if you go to our palengke sa Virac, suki ako sa store nila Tan’s Store (chinelas shop). When I was a kid, minsan sinasadya kong sirain para bilhan ulit ako ng bago, minsan, binabrush ko pa yan.

I always associate havaianas with summer and holidays. I take out my pair everytime I know it’s the season again for some sun!
Summer is here I guess, the A|X sells them in camouflage skins, Puma has different colors & wet market has cheaper ones. Walang Spartan eh.
havaianas - this one’s big back home.well the philippines is a tropical country that’s why. i love flip-flops never a shoe person.
i am torned between loving summer or the rain, well then i’ll just choose them both ;p

and belle! trust me–at first i was complaining, but when i got one, i have been wearing it everyday, even in the malls, kaya sulit yung P800 ko, kahit di na ako naka sandals or step ins sa mall!
Hi Mon, I don’t like rain, typhoons, showers kahit na hindi malakas. The havaianas become so popular here dahil, the locals find it “cute” eh sa atin, it’s our everyday’s thing diba?
Hi sexymom, they are both comfortable and trendy to me. I am a chinelas-type of person, kahit winter, I like wearing leather flip-flops so that’s why I hate attending formal-attire parties. I’ve seen your collections. ANG GALENG! Now you’re making me change my mind, I’m going to collect more Havaianas too.

Aw that’s similar to the Rocksports summer collections. Kaso, maliit ang paa ko, I tried them on at wala smallest size UK40, eh 38 lang ako. I had a few choices na, “Paul Smiths” for leathers & “Brasil” for Havaianas.
Havaianas are just too cool. I love them….
