my handwriting

Inspired from the Paperblog of memoirs on a rainy day.

Wish I had a multifunction remote control device for my life. When things become difficult and life a drain as indeed it will at times, I could hit that one button to change to another channel. Something more tolerate, comfortable or pleasing.

    Well, it’s just practice.

You have to get used to writing a lot. I used to write a lot in university and school.

I used to letter my own comics as well.

Yeah, I still have the writing of someone in primary. Though I don’t find it annoying or anything, people have complimented on it saying that it’s “cute”. Whatever that means. The reason I like it so much is that everyone else’s handwriting is so adult-like and I’ve got this kid writing. It separates me from the rest.

Range, I noticed, you had drawings in your paperblog as well. Where did you get the idea? Thing is eversince I started using the internet, I stopped writing. For a traveller like you, this must be a fun-thing to do. Really.

Weng, I do remember I used to draw faces, scenery & write poems in a scrapbook paper using a ’staedler’ pencil. I like to sit at the back of the classroom and pretty much that I was just busy writing.

Hi K - Is that your handwriting? I don’t find it crappy-looking at all! In fact it has lots of character. I used to read lots of those handwriting analysis books in high school, and although I haven’t kept up with the stuff, the first couple of things that jumped at me when I saw your writing was this: stubborn and passionate. :)
Am I at least partly correct? Or do I need to hit the books again? :)

If that’s your handwriting, then it’s way better than mine! I think the only reason I got into medschool was because I’ve got the penmanship of a doctor. haha.

Chase, that’s a lot of work to do. But I’m sure you have plenty of time doing that than being at work thinking of how you gonna end your day.

Gigi, How did you know? I guess I am when my mind is made up. It can also be my other positive trait because I sometime don’t waste time listening for other people’s crap but I’m flexible - yeah passionate and too friendly if you know me very well.

Marni, I usually don’t write in CAPS but it changed when I started working with people who can’t read my “normal” handwriting. I wish I was an Architect or an Engineer, they do write well true, unlike the Doctors.

    Hey K.

I partly got the idea from jessicadoyle.ca. She has these amazing notebooks in which she does mostly art. Sometimes there is writing, but she creates art.

I thought about that and when I was thinking about a back-up solution for my laptop on my last trip to Thailand, I bought a notebook. In fact I bought two. They had this handy clasp to protect the pages.

I write the paperblogs, just like I would write a blog. At the same time, I like to illustrate them. When I started, I was thinking about photographing some of my drawings and putting them on my blog. I thought, why can’t I do that with writing as well? It’s old school and new school at the same time.

I have this little green notebook where I write down random stuff, like ideas I get from watching mtv, movies, stuff. Mostly words, phrases, doodles. when I’ve filled all the pages on one side, I just turn it upside down and start writing again, on the the other side, this time. wierd I know.

and totally out of the topic, elliott yamin turned out well with his hair and good dental work on his teeth. He was my favorite on AI. :)

i still love writing on paper! daily work/office list, grocery list, to-do and to-buy list, cards, etc. in fact, i love collecting papers and memo pads, and i have a small notebook in my bag where i just write any stuff :)

Range, if I’m in the mood for anything to write, I would buy one of those notebooks to start writing short notes like I used to when I was in college. Do you know that when I first moved here, I write letters for friends and family every week, loonng letters and I misses doing that when started blogging.

Marni, Yamin is such an intelligent artist even during the competition - much better than Hicks. He is very soulful with an R&B twist and thats what I like about in his first CD.

Vina, if you are on my desk at work, our desk is mostly covered with post-it, a reminder for me to do on a regular basis. Like online, firs thing to do is check on the emails and comments on my blog. I miss going to school somehow like using a nice pen and notebook when you do your homework and get a nice compliment from teachers from my nice handwriting.
