And two of my friends, too while the other was feeling as though she had a dry labor. It was caused by the stupid massage. I’m feeling all sored and inflamed.
I do love massage and I’m used to having the deep tissue so soreness is to be expected. I demanded to have it harder but for some reason the thai masseuse was too aggressive. It wasn’t a Thai massage but too much pressure made it so bad that I am feeling like I couldn’t get to sleep properly.
Occasionally I can feel the sensitive spot in my muscle that feels like a knot - even if it’s likely to be uncomfortable while the therapist works it out, I didn’t complaint. I only felt it after the massage was done a few minutes later.
In the first place it wasn’t my idea to go for a massage. But because I am ‘man’s best friend’, I joined them. Infact, I do know where to find a nice place, cheaper and tested but they insisted it their way. Not my fault. I thought the massage can help me feel more relaxed. The massage room was bad. No music was playing. There was no lotion and oil so the friction from the towel increases rubbing it off my already dry skin. WTF.
Will the “real” massage be painful? No. Relaxation massage shouldn’t be painful and although therapeutic massage including Deep Tissue techniques should seldom be more than slightly uncomfortable, it’s great, you’ll wonder why you never have done it before. But next time, I am not going there anymore and having it alone.

What a coincidence! My post is all about massage too! How I envy you even if you got a painful massage. I would kill for one now! Most likely, mabigat ang kamay nung nagmasahe sayo! Put a salonpas on it for a speedy recovery!!!
Hahaha I read your latest post, we do love massages (when we get older, people assumed they needed these treatment once in a while). HK is the place for everything, syempre most of these Spa’s are taking advantage of the trend. If you go to HK, visit the Four Season Hotel and try their SPA - you would never want to leave the place as you dip yourself in a hot jacuzzi. I think they use Elemis products and men do have now SPa treatments.
Ok na rin ako, medyo kailangan lang uminom ng maraming tubig.
hahahahahahahha! i was just about to say that you and Duke have similar entries about massages!!! hahahahahahahha! this is sooo funny!
anyways, i have soreness of different sort … coz of yoga and aerobics! yes, you heard me right, i have yoga in the morning and aerobics in the evening every other day! i dont know what got over me … basta ang alam ko ang sakit ng katawan ko!!! @%&!^$%# I NEED A MASSAGE!!!
Grace, SIRA ka talaga. YOGA is good for you while PILATES is much much better, that is, you need a one-on-one personal trainer. Kailangan flexible ang katawan mo, try mo nga ilagay ang leeg mo kung maabot mo kaya? Hehehehe.
Duke & I are very much a “high-maintenance” individuals pero it’s a healthy lifestyle diba? HK is very influential I tell you. Shit I totally forgot about the TODS.
grabe yung title mo, na-shock ako hehehe.
sana binalikan mo yun masseur tapos siya naman minasahe mo, ng pison
