Pleasure of eating M&M with little etiquette

M&M

I have just eaten my dinner, stretch for a minute then went to my couch. I turned on the TV and started to feeling hungry again. So I opened a pack of crackers, put it in a platter with the cheese on top of each other. The next morning when I woke up, I anticipated eating M&M chocolate. What the shit is that? This is some junkies for pleasure.

I mean really, you tear the plastic off of the corner of the pack, pour it in a small saucer cup or even into your hands. Start picking one color to another until you eat them all at once. I love the peanut ones because I’m sure it’s most superior of all M&M’s. Agree? If you had a choice, why would you pick plain?

Here’s what I did. Since M&M is too small, I still get the pleasure of experimenting how to eat it, piece by piece, layers by layers. Sounds strange? Try eating the peanut M&M by cracking the outer chocolate shell with your teeth then slowly peel the rest with your fingers and set aside the peanut. Repeat it for a few times until you get a stack of the shell and peanuts that you set aside and together, eat them whole. Come on, admit there’s something out there you get a twisted pleasure from taking apart and eating.

Maybe one day, if I can’t store any M&M on top of my fridgey, I am going to eat that peanut butter by using my finger and lick it real good. My life is going to be miserable after I stopped my smoking habit. Getting a 10% fat doesn’t make me edgy or irritable at all. It’s just that my tummy gets bulkier and I still look malnourished.

Life is sweet.

K, when I eat M&M’s, I get carried away and before I know it, the whole package is gone. We just recently had sales on chocolates including M&M’s and bought quite a bit to take home.

Anything taken in moderation should be okay. For me, though, if go over my limit, my hips spread out wider…hehe.

The M&Ms mint that they sell now in Hong Kong is actually quite good. But my all-time favorite is M&M crispy. I can finish a big bag in one sitting!

The only one I didn’t like was the peanut butter variety. That’s why there are two unopened packs in my flat right now.

Belle, who could ever resist a chocolate? I remembered when I was in my college, my very first expensive chocolate I bought for myself was a TOBLERONE. Ang babaw diba? Would you believe, chocolate is really bad for me. I am (sort of) diabetic (probably hereditary?) but it gives me that energy, like the coca-cola. I swear, I’ll die soon (knock on da wood), die being a “sweet” person, literally.

Dazed, a mint? I haven’t tried that yet, well I enjoy the mini M&M’s.

Funnily enough, I can’t actually eat too much chocolate because the sweetness makes me a little nauseous after a while. Though I do enjoy the peanut M&Ms.

Wengistein, give me some (mouths open) and dunk it in. I believe peanuts makes M&M more “eatable” than the plain ones. I mean really, chocolates makes me a bit of an Einstein hehehe.

Vina, and I love them on top of my Ben & Jerry’s ice cream too. M&M on top of your cookies can be a great recipe for snacks as well.

I love M&M’s! But I don’t like peanuts, so if I eat Peanut M&M’s, I only eat the chocolate and discard the peanuts. Hehe :D

That’s a shame! Give me the peanuts!

.. because of M&M’s? Hahaha ear, I had no idea really. I didn’t even block any IP’s from spammers so it makes me wonder. I think your IP is hidden or something?

Hi Diane, thanks for visiting and Happy New Year. Well, that’s the reason why I had the balls to sing that song here was because, I ain’t no Justin Timberlake. Hehehe, but don’t worry I will try to find some “karaoke-ish” so next time I sing, you’ll hear my voice clearly. BTW, I tried leaving message to your blog but I had a hard time, I’m not a Xanga user. But thanks for the compliments, I will try to look for that links and hear your singing.

PS. I heard your “It’s Too Late”. Damn you sing so very well indeed. You see, I sing “live” infront of my laptop using my wireless mic so the quality sucks, I’ll learn next time, thanks ha?

addicting! i used to gulp a bag in three minutes (that’s one song) but i somehow got rid of my cravings for m&ms and sweet stuff…somehow.

i love M&Ms but since this bitch is dieting now. No chocolates for me and I am also controlling what I eat. Like only a cracker for bfast or just a piece of banana.

Ten, I have a sweet tooth. It’s like a hobby of mine - I don’t think I’ll die soon from eating too much but I just love eating chocolates, forget the Ferrero’s, it gave me a big punch of toothache and will never eat that again. I think the choco-soft fillings in it ‘whacked’ me off big time.

Charles, dieting? Since when? Well good on you. But I can’t be like you eating just a banana for breakfast? No way, Jose. Hahaha.

eating chocolates is a personal choice, and my gut feel is that - etiquette is not necessary (lol!!!). we all love chocolates - thank God for creating them. i still like the plains (but the mints would be a welcome delight to my daughters).

as to mentioning about being kinda diabetic. i recall that doctors, through the prodding of drug companies who wanted to increase their sales, raised the normal value of blood sugar level from 110 to 120. now, it appears that most of us filipinos are diabetics (when apparently, we’re not)!

I love the blue ones! I specifically look for them when eating a pack ;)

Hi Sexy Mom (wow!), I agree with the no etiquette necessary on eating chocolates hehehe. But really I’m diabetic (a tiny bit I think, my elders from the Father side are diabetic) so I shouldn’t be eating sweets. With peanuts, I believe they are a healthy, good snack. However, they are very high in calories. I want to gain weight so sometimes I eat power bars chocolates. Ok naman siguro unless I’m playing it safe, right? Hey, thanks for the visit.

Duke, I like all of them, and I discovered there’s a mini-mint M&M at the Watson’s. Hahaha, ang kulet!

Sha, and I would like to even eat a chocolate with the remaining chocolate on tip of my fingers and lick it. hehehe.

I eat like a raccoon or a savage depending on my crave-o-meter :D

[...] The cool thing about Wordpress is that, widgets are easy to manage. This is a cool utility that allows you to rearrange buttons on your taskbar by just dragging them around. It took me a few hundred times to complete the entire site back because, great, my little knowledge of using HTML is as easy as having a pleasure of eating a pack of m&m’s. [...]
