As Rho would put it, a fried rice is the best choice for "longanisa". I don't know if you'll ever be content with the plain garlic fried rice, this is not a chinese style but I wish I can describe the aroma if you cook sinangag with garlic, you just have to try it yourself to experience the whole thing.
