You don’t need to know why I bought a new ultra slim toy Samsung than asparagus

My excuse? Pardon me but I accidentally dropped my N70 Nokia on a sink while washing my coffee mugs. I stucked it into my ear talking to someone but it slipped with a big “whoopps” off me. The camera was soaked all wet but still working. Shit happens.
I was pissed off. I’m convinced that while cell phones were put in this earth to enable communication, I rushed to a mobile shop down the road and found this new Samsung Ultra Edition 3 Megapixel mobile phone. I paid only half price for a trade-in. This new phone is thin, it slides, and it has an auto-focus camera with a 3 megapixel sensor. It’s the Samsung SGH-D900, one of the company’s premiere Ultra line of handsets. I took it out for a test and I generally likes what it has to offer.

I couldn’t stop comparing it with other phones I had from the past. Maybe, I’ll just need to get along with the functionality, well some of them are too basic compared with the Nokias. The interface is quite attractive and the controls are easy to manage. The design is so business-like. I would highly recommend this mobile as it does most everything well, and probably does many things exceedingly well.
The Pros: Super slim and lightweight. 3 Megapixel camera. Smart looking. I love the screen & ringtones, solid design, good photos and a Bluetooth stereo. It has a nice alarm clock that guaranteed to wake you up.
The Cons: The software is not working on my XP. Keypad is too small for my text messaging. Photos cannot be saved directly to microSD, no focus-lock, low ring volume, no profiles.
I’m loving it. In reality, it’s one of those that I complained about on how to spend a little wisely then beg for another year to save sort of excuses.

I got a K810i last week and I like it.
[...] I made a deal with my ‘phone-shop’ friend down the road and traded off my not-so-old Ultra Slim Samsung [...]
[...] Do you think I will still take the ferry? Well of course, I like walking around Central. Thanks to my Samsung. [...]
[...] How true? Since I am still smoking, yes you hear me, I might as well try if this thing really works for me. If anytime I want a Marlboro, I’d probably just grab my Samsung and quit smoking. How would I do that? [...]
Ssshhh. What do you expect in Hong Kong? I was shocked when they told me that my N70 is already an old model. I mean, people here change their phones every quarterly, crazy but true. For my case, it was an accident so I had an excuse to change.
K!
I haven’t bought a new phone in three freaking years! My phone is soooooo outdated! Inggit ako sayo!
I didn’t actually realized that until yesterday, it’s a live wallpaper. I’m using Hong Kong Theme, it has birds flying around on 6am and a bright afternoon during 3pm and a colorful lights of the skyscrapers after 6pm. If you’re getting some text messages, you can even see fireworks on a screen. It can even break an ice cubes.
wow! my friend actually has the same phone and i am drooling in envy. what i like is the wallpaper of a panoramic view of mountains and the sky. It is in sync with the time. so i see the sun rise and set, and the moon and falling stars appear after 6pm.
When I went to the shop, I had 5 different handsets to choose from. I flipped and pressed the Nokia N80, I tried videos of Sony Ericsson, even let the sales lady to send bluetooth and I said, I’m tired using Nokias (or bulky mobiles) in fear that I might have dropped it again, so she offered me the Samsung and I felt in love with it right away (maybe in just a few months). Andrew Lim explains the details here about Samsung so I’m convinced with the nice quality.
Boy, K… you sounded like a sales guy or is it an ad.. something like that. But I like it anyway. Cool, the phone looks chic. Mine’s been Nokia all the while, more user-friendly only the phone designs looks weird sometimes. But i prefer the three…. samsung, sony ericsson plus the good ol’ Nokia.
ps: Now, that’s what I call… a cool dude. K, your pics are whoosh…
C, I thought about that before signging up at wp.com. At first. I was worried about getting rid of the video codes and templates are not cosutmizable but the beauty of using wordpress is that, it’s organized, easy to browse around & no HTML need (well, I still use a bit of). I’m glad you’re moving some of your posts/comments to your wp.com account. Ya’ll get used to it someday.
looking good…the phone for its size and its features

thanks for your comments on my wp blog…as I said, still testing the waters and must learn how to customize it more to be almost similar to my blogger blog (hehe)
