it’s all about the taxis, billboards, sidewalks, cinemas, zebra lines, lights, sounds, people, skyscrapers and shopping malls.

Who is this Alyssa Alano? I just felt surprisingly embarrassed for her.

Maybe it made her popular singing that song. Well I’m not quite sure though if she’s really that popular in the Philippines. I can’t help but laugh while watching it with lyrics scrolling like that in a Videoke.

I’m so behind with the Philippine celebrity trends these days but she made me laugh, at least. Ang mga artista talaga, oo.

From what I read a few mins ago, some stupid people with too much time on their hands turned her a mega-dumb-internet popular celebrity which was obviously a spoof just to catch people’s attention.
Youtube is our next popular internet TV, don’t you think?

OMG! I’m laughing out loud while hiding behind the settee! Nakakatawa pero nakakahiya! Was this internationally released by Youtube? I hope not.

Hi K, was bloghopping around and got hold of your site. Thanks for sharing this vid. Have a nice day!

I think this video was leaked from an email and sent it all over YouTube and the door was opened for her in “shoe bees ness” without using her KEYS. She made an appearance in some interview sitcom, I think she was asked about “the name of a fish who has sharp teeth” she answered, “SHAF” which actually meant a “SHARK”.

It made me even laugh at the flashing “YOU’RE GOOD” with a score -99. So Keys Me.
    Thanks for the lovely visit.

It was dubbed at the recent Emmy Awards that YouTube is replacing FOX because KIDS don’t watch TV anymore these days. I’m one of those “kids”

It was realy hilarious, thanks K! And also thanks for the Bepot song you uploaded to your site. I sent it to my parents and my sister and they just could not stop laughing. You’re such an entertainer.

And our Big Shopping Mall is a place for that. Hahaha. Honestly, if you’re not reading the lyrics, she was actually “eating the words” so to add more injury, people made an effort with the scrolling lyrics that made her even more popular.

    Onli inda Pilipins.

she’s actually been guesting in other TV programs singing this song. apparently by popular demand (the reason for which i cannot even imagine). and i think there’s going to be a special on her “life story”. geez. and sometimes we overintelectualize why the country’s not on the up-and-up.

  17. Wavatar K on 21.09.2006 at 12:13 Post reply

A form of entertainment, I suppose.

Ang tindi ah? Well she looked like Ruffa to me sa biglang tingin which reminds me of her That’s Entertainment days with the same singing style. Hahaha.

eeks! kaka…kakahiya, i hope people don’t think this is the kind of talent the philippines produces!

  19. Wavatar K on 21.09.2006 at 15:30 Post reply

I’m sure a lot people who’d seen these would think “Ahh, Jasmine Trias”. No pun intended but some celebrity are so courageous to do crazy things to be on TOP (forrawhile I guess) so they make all these “gimmiks” by selling themselves to public. And the people liked it. Babaw anoh?

  20. Wavatar vina on 21.09.2006 at 15:32 Post reply

it’s the fault of the lyrics, dammit!

  21. Wavatar K on 21.09.2006 at 21:13 Post reply

Hahahaha that is so “That’s Entertainment”. She can dance tho.

  22. Wavatar schoepenhauer on 25.09.2006 at 11:09 Post reply

She’s always on TV lately, and there’s one show where they make her sing and teach english (it’s a gag show). It’s still funny now but I dunno how long it will last… at least 15 minutes extended.

Seriously? Sometimes it’s difficult to understand why we pinoys like “kababawans” - it entertains us most of the time, don’t you think?
