I think I’m just being so passionate with this blog commenting & blog readings. Sometimes we don’t have to behave as someone we are not, but if you got out there and CARE about the topic and audience, we make sure that it shows (in the first place, why would you be in someone’s blog if you don’t care, right?).

I, too in most instances mispelled words (but it is my grammar that I believe needs practice) but yeah, it’s always fun when we make mistakes, there’s excitement in there somehow.

Well, this is like another chatroom really, more or less a forum. Honestly I’ve never been to any kind of forums except the one in wordpress. Sometimes I just hate it when moderators just shut you off and tells you to just “go read the FAQ”.

In blogging, I don’t really take myself too seriously (depending on my mood I guess) That’s why I keep changing themes.

Thanks Asha, I could honestly remember - it was the “shoutbox” which you leave comments in diff nicknames like you were hiding from someone else. I was using a black theme, even if you didn’t understand the topic, at least Mr Brownie’s photos keeps you from coming back, right?

Blogspot was so damn popular that time (hahaha sorry no pun intended) & I would post cranky entries (even up to now). And I called you “The Woman”. Until when you changed your writing format, it’s now then that I started calling you by name “Asha”.

Getting used to the whole layout really. There is still something wrong with this theme. It’s a bit outdated, good for simple blogging. I noticed that the width of the writing space needs to be “stretched” a little wider. I think I like it too (I hope for a few months) - you never know, wordpress is getting better and better these days.

On flickr badge, I made it up myself, nothing related to the rss feeds so it’s a static picture.

Thanks Jason. I must admit, I don’t have any serious/decent posts but in a way I’m just trying to write what comes out either directly or emotionally - like I’m talking to you face-to-face. I also like using jokes in reference to what I wrote but I’m just being specific.

Blogosphere is so huge that I think it is best to write funny and exciting posts at the same time. Some first time visitors would not understand what you’re trying to say if you’re not specific with the post. So it’s best to put links in reference to what you are telling them.

Sometimes it sucks that I tend to make it a habit of talking about me all the time - it’s like a MEME game, but very infectious.

You know me quite well now, I like minimalistic/clean theme, nothing fancy anymore. This theme lacks extra plugins but simple and lighter gives the thumbs up, right?

My pleasure Duke, it’s not really about the numbers that counts, it’s about showing that you care. I care about my audience. I care about your time, your attention, and probably about what you’ve paid in time and money (I know some of us would be in cafe just to go online, I care about those audience). I care because that’s the kind of person I am, I guess.

I find it really interactive. Leaving a comment on someone’s weblog is like walking into your living room and joining in on a conversation. In real life, there are some people who are a pleasure to converse with, and some who are not, right?

Hi Pari - you’re right, I think this is my 3rd installment into changing themes, it goes with the seasonal mood. I’m a fickle minded person, I can’t decide at once but for all I care, I do enjoy playing with templates - wordpress just let you do the clicking, no HTML-headaches.

I got to say that you’re one of the first RBJ people I linked to when I first started on the network.

Wow I’m surprised, I really didn’t know that. I changed my screen name to a short “K” as others find it rather difficult to spell the “Knoizki” (with the silent “K” as your pronounce it.)

That’s true Charles, we create friends and learnt at each other - (although I’m a bit puzzled that I do get more spam comments these days than legit comments), but even so, I do not moderate my comments anymore just to allow people to speed up their discussions and make replies to them or whatever is being said about the post.

I’m not a big fan of imposing commenting-rules anymore although when I reply to each of your comments, it is heck a lot of work to do, but I’m enjoying it.

I’ve come across into some blogs and found that the author replies like a long lectures, sooo long that I feel like unwelcomed. I do like long comments tho but as long as they are to the point, I won’t mind. Everyone appreciates quality, right?

To my knowledge, a header minus an image makes the browsing in your blog easier. This theme needs deconstructions, number of comments should be numbered, the sidebar needs a perfect width/length but the one I like here is the WHITE background and the clean comment box. Someone from wordpress has already sent a feedback to upgrade this theme, so I’m hoping they’ll also put image costumization to all the themese out there. I’m thinking of the Kurbrick theme but…

Way to go JV. True, true, everyday experiences is what makes your blogs interesting - since it’s a personal blog, it always become interactive. And we often wondered., “How Did we get here”?

Personal blogs often creates a big circular audience (Well I see that to all fellow pinoy-blogs), I’d become a part-time writer (kuno) but it’s all about finding and maintaining a community of like-minded thinkers just like you, who can be part of the whole conversation. It’s not about popularity really or being top of every TOP blog sites and it’s easy - - easy to start a blog, write one or two paragraphs and you’re at it, little knowledge are required, easy to connect with other people. You can post from work (like right now, ssshhh!), school or home.

Besides I have music on my sidebar while I eat with my muffin as I read your blogs. You can do anything you like in it. It’s yours so who’s going to get mad at you, right?

Syempre, the whole family was saddened and devastated about her surgery. Mabuti nga daw naagapan. When I saw her a month after the surgery, nanghina tuhod ko - can’t imagine how brave she really was (and still is). I could feel the pain, hindi lang basta sugat na maliit yun pero, nung sinabe nya sa amin, “don’t worry I’ll be fine” medyo natakot kami but then, we always put the trust in HIM up there.

Great Dice, now I’m in peace. When I heard it at first tho, I thought I was right but I still doubt as to why other pronounce it as “vaz”, thanks for the webster link I listened to it repeatedly and just in case I’ll see that person again, I’ll correct her myself.

How about “vineyard”? Is that pronounce as “VEEN-YARD” or the first two syllables pronounce as “bi”? During my HS days, our teacher would pronounce “TERRACE” as “TE-RAZ” referred to in Spanish as “TERRAZA”? Ugh.

Hehehe meeya, that’s very english “TWO-MA-TOO”. When I was younger, I thought that ENGLISH refers to as the Americans.

And now that I’m here, I would pick up words a bit funny. British english becomes more interesting even in the small form of spelling. A word between “CENTER” to “CENTRE” are spelled differently and it still sounded the same. While, “WHILST” to “WHILE” seemed so wrong to me, and sometimes, I would argue with my BOSS whenever I write few business letters and she would correct me for that.

Usually the common errors of mispronounced words results to talking it rapidly or maybe it’s just my mother tongue that did the mispronounciation often I would just say it even if they think it’s wrong. Say like, a word “often” is pronounced without the [t] , we can master the correct spelling so well, but in some cases its spelling influences the pronounciation and it would sound like an “open”.

Or in the same manner, pronounciation is often mispelled us pronunciation - it sounded the same but we mispelled this all the time, don’t you think? hehehe.

For as long as I’m still blogging, I will keep doing it. You guys are the reason why I’m here, and vice versa.
