Find Me
Originally uploaded by: muju 79

So many people really think that this blog is all about Music. I’m not surprised at all since every week, I’ve been trying to share few ‘downloads’ for FREE - this is not an obligation but if we look carefully on the good sides, best things in life are simply just listening to, and downloading free music.

So Ok, I get it. While one might be satisfied by listening to downloaded music, many people say that they often purchase a band’s CD after hearing their downloads. I can easily tell that CD recordings, I must admit, sound better than most MP3 files, and it’s nice to have a labeled CD, package and notes. Although there are some who advocate that all music ought to be freely available and sharable, so why not share mine as well, right?

But wait, the other side of the world just keeps bouncing back on my little secrets. What secrets? I don’t have anything to tell except that I have a tiny ass, a two ugly moles on my face and I don’t eat cereals. I can’t cook any food like Thai Prawn Curry but you see, it’s my favourite. I like spicy but if you prefer more heat, increase the amount of hot peppers. It’s delicious if you served them hot - it will really awaken your taste buds.

How many times did someone ever think that Whitney Houston still is sick but she didn’t screw up that Classic, not just yet. But if you ask me, if seals can sing, why can’t she?

So I’ve decided to put my music sidebar back and running again. I have now updated my download page and those who doesn’t want the download, GO AWAY (ok, just kidding!). Besides these are my own choices so click away and enjoy the time alone. You know, it’s really difficult to find music that’s actually worth listening to. Although many artists offer music on their websites, there’s no real way to tell if it’s any good without actually downloading it. Consider that listening to music is a basic human need.

Why is that? Because I think, that Corrine Bailey Rae made this blog a little busy the other day. Well Corrine is amazing, great voice, expressive, warm, and with some unique vocal quirks that could really distinguish her as an intelligent singer. This is a woman, who’s not ever going to be your average ballad singer. In fact, if allowed, she’ll blow you away many times with her “Put Your Records On”. I like the Billy Holiday/Erika Badu feel she gives.

I must admit, I am also a fan of the IDOLS. Jasmine Trias has recently released her new single “I’d Rather” and charting this song on the Top 16 at the Idol Waves.

So allow me to say thank you for the gazillion clicks and for making this blog a happy place to listen for music.

I recommend you buy the CD, worth listening to Corrine but you know don’t spoil it too much, otherwise you’ll get tired listening to it over and over again.

I do hope that you don’t get tired coming back here kahit lagi kang nasa Spam box. Honestly, I removed all the IP’s in my Akismet and ‘luckily’, you have always been caught.

    How did I find K?

Probably through bloghopping, or you had left a comment on my blog and then I went onto yours, or something like that.

  18. Wavatar K on 10.07.2006 at 22:47 Post reply

Nope, I was reading one of the wp.com forum topic and I found your blog. I think you were having that little “argument” with the screen name coyote? She’s so annoying (wait, maybe she’s reading this ) everytime she leaves “comment” in any of the topics, she’d usually give a remark “try to read FAQ before making another thread…”.

Then you started clicking on one of my posts and found the coComment post.

  19. Wavatar Jack Yan on 10.07.2006 at 22:48 Post reply

I think I found K through coComment. And I am glad I did.

  20. Wavatar K on 10.07.2006 at 23:55 Post reply

It started with the Bored Spam & Penis Enlargement Jack. You gave me a very good advise on how to eliminate spams to my inbox thru coComment.

And you thought, I’m one of your “extended family” because I was blogging from HK.

  21. Wavatar Mayang on 10.07.2006 at 23:56 Post reply

found K as i was hoppin’ my way thru blogosphere! glad i did, he’s a very amusing guy in a comic sorta way… hehe ;)

  22. Wavatar K on 11.07.2006 at 00:34 Post reply

It started with One, Two, Three, Hello’s, literally. And I asked if you were a Malaysian and you replied your family lives in Cebu and that you are from UAE and you wear betty boop tiny-tee’s, err I mean you like wearing tiny-tee’s and then I said you look-a-lot like Norah Jones and you were  (shock) because my writings ends with many “and’s”.

I think that’s how it all started.

You are welcome always and besides you have a neat taste as well

You have a great memory, K! And you are part of the whanau!

  28. Wavatar K on 12.07.2006 at 05:37 Post reply

I believe in that - I don’t think I’m getting old my memory is somewhat amazing - I tend to forget things beyond my control but most of the time, I can remember the things from the past because I learned something from it. You helped me with that in some way.

What is a whanau? Is that a cantonese language?

  29. Wavatar neko on 12.07.2006 at 05:38 Post reply

you have quite an awesome site, man.
in addition to the great taste in music~

  30. Wavatar K on 13.07.2006 at 02:38 Post reply

Thanks Sir Neko. I feel connected to every lyrics and sounds I hear from my selection or something like that. What makes a blog awesome? Because there people who support you - it’s pretty much that life is like a box full of chocolates, you don’t know what you’re gonna get. There are people who are nice and there are people who wants to be nice. I think I’m both of like that.

Whanau is a Māori term for extended family. It’s common down here but probably not in any other country. But I can’t think of a better term for the idea.

  32. Wavatar K on 14.07.2006 at 00:46 Post reply

I heard about the Maori, sounded closely Hawaiian or a Polynesians.

  33. Wavatar Jack Yan on 14.07.2006 at 15:23 Post reply

M#257;ori are a Polynesian race. If you think of Polynesia as a continent, it is one of the most widespread—French Polynesia itself is the size of Europe. The Hawai’ians and the Māori are, as my friend Patrick puts it, the ‘the lead tribes’. They were the ones charged with going forth into the ocean to see if they could spread the culture. Hence, linguistically, Hawai’ian, Māori, and, say, Samoan and Tahitian, are similar.
