Not really cuz you know I don’t and can’t cook like that myself. I’m a noodle person and because I was craving for this food, I ended up having the beef brisket curry from the 7-11 store down the road. Yes, the site is quite interesting.

what i truly miss and would long to have again is “humba” … pork knuckles cooked adobo way but with a twist of sweetness and aroma of laurel leaves :)

I couldn’t master that HUMBA recipe. Ginagawa ko lang is mix the toyo, ‘Datu Puti’, bawang, paminta with a sprinkle of sugah until the karne is tender - yummy na rin. Din’t you know “humba” is very popular delicacy in Bicol aside from the “bicol express”? Palutuin mo kaya si hubby mo?

Lika kamayan tayo habang nakataas paa. I usually eat like that pag nasa bikol.

I can eat humba but not cook it ;)

Korek ka jan, I would prefer feeding myself than messing up the taste dahil too much asin, too much mantika or little asukal. Mas OK pa yung magprito na lang ng tinapa, worry-free.

tsssssarap!!!! can imagine our little table full of humba, rice and tinapa! duke you dont have to cook, just bring buko juice :)

Tita G, I actually like the idea of BUKO Salad na may kaong, na may gatas, na may pinya, na may red beans, na may ice cream, na may.. teka HALO HALO na ata yan.
