To end my weekend, we gate crashed in to our friends room at the JW Marriott for some Tsing Tao Chinese beer and White wines. They are heading back to the US this Monday and thought we get together and had fresheners. Sayang, wala si Isay.
Chicken Quesadillas and the Nasi Goreng Indonesian fried rice are good for the taste buds. I thought I was gonna end up filling empty with just a cup of coffee but having a thick face like myself, you’ll end up eating in a Five Star hotel room asking your friend by acting like a guest unless you insanely look very thirsty or super hungry.

Happy Trip to Jayne & James and thank you for the bottled of water I stole in your room fridge. If you find out that there were extra charge in the bill when you check out, it wasn’t me. Next time you visit, make sure to bring the new addition to your family, a baby.

i want some of that Nasi Goreng!
happy weekend K!!
Hi C, there’s always something in the fried rice that makes you want to eat for more. Happy weekend to you too.
me too nasi goreng!!!
punta ka dito sa five star namin … pakainin kita ng dal makhni (lentil stew) and tandoori chicken (roasted chicken marinated in indian spices)
buwisit! nag-crave tuloy ako ng nasi goreng and chicken quesadilla … magpapaluto ako kay Papa ng goreng … let’s see if he’ll make one for me
Is that room service menu? Grace, I love buffet, anything from shells, shrimps, there’s an absolute taste in there. Does you hubby cook for buffet’s too?
It was my first nasi goreng, sa pangalan kasi parang it sounded a bit of “foul” until natikman ko, sarap pala.
Pag may curry ka diyan sa kwarto nyo, humanda ka sa akin.
wowtsing tao and nasi goreng1 one of my fave! less spicy though, sna minathc mo ng chicken satay and shrimp crackers ang fried egg1 yum! yum1 ayan nagugutom na tuloy ako!
Syempre kasama, yun ang unang pinapak namin kaya nde nakuan ng camera phone. My friends even said, how cheap that I had to take photos of these, ndi nila alam “may i show off” ko yung pictures sa blog.
wow k, bato mo namn dito yan pls pls… hahahaha
Ano yan balut? Yukoooooo.
Hello K! Looks wonderful! I have tried that Indonesian dish yet probably I will check on some recipes and cook it myself!
As long as the food is served hot I don’t mind. But I’m a salad person, I do enjoy the grilled tuna in green salad. I think I’m reading too much on Jamie Oliver’s recipe, Charles.
me like nasi goreng and bami goreng ( noodles instead of rice)!!!
never ko ata napagsawaaan yan.. ayan na miss ko tuloy
I never tasted goreng pa kaya nung matikman ko, teka parang ang sarap. Maybe I was too hungry and I didn’t even want to share the plate. Pero mas hindi ko sya ipapadaig sa Chinese Fried Rice at sa Garlic Fried Rice ng Pinoy.
Do you ever cook beef curry? Patikim!
