Yes you hear me, fellas!

I’ve won the lottery worth HK$ 100K. I’m in a great shock. I’m so wealthy! A good timing for a great laze holiday. I am not sure whether this is a great thing to do but since the money is now all in my pocket, I’m going to New York.

Ahh New York. A city that is filled with the best of the best. It is probably one of the greatest luxury to treat myself wastefully with a wonderful service and leave me completely pampered and refreshed. I feel so proud of myself, a once in a lifetime that can never be so easy to experience.

I’m so looking forward for a spa rejuvenation, ultimate room service and the rent-a-car around the city with a personal driver. There is nothing more pleasant and relaxing than a day in a spa, a massage to feel good and be at my best.

What about Manhattan? For sure I gotta spend my time seeing those tourist attractions from the Statue of Liberty, Carnegie Hall, Washington Square Park and Time Square all throughout my stay and yet of course, the night out adventures. Nightlife in NY probably has everything I have ever dreamt of.

Yes, I’m excited. I’m going nuts about everything. To see the Central Park and ride in the carousels that I only got to see in famous movies used as a backdrop, in postcards & I just can’t wait but be there or visit the most recognizable building in the world, the Empire State Building. I can take dozen of photos for sure. I’ll get dizzy. I wanna feel how it is in the 86th floor. What is in the 86th floor? The sight must be so spectacular.

*Poof*

Perfect isn’t it? Shame on me.

I know I’ve been daydreaming at work about these. I wish I had the hundred thousand dollars. I wish I can fly away for 7 days. And I wish I know when or how to get there.

Slap me ten thousand times now just to wake me up! It’s just that I’ve been listening to my little voices above my head. While my right brain is busy with work, my left brain is also busy spending the time on daydreaming, well just to balance both sides, you know.

And damn, I’ll be working for 7 days straight for the entire week because someone else is going on a holiday trip.

*I wrote this sometime a year ago at my dead old blog and I’m laughing at myself now.

Addendum: Congratulations to the Wordpress Team for reaching 200K blogs and counting at Wordpress.com. What a great achievement! Believe it or not, Wordpress had taught me how to blog more properly, it’s a great platform for blogging. Besides Wordpress.com is a good community to get yourself listed with.

Funny how day dreams like that can really take hold eh?
Got to run - need to go buy my lottery ticket now…

Hahaha iiq, so easy to win by closing your eyes and dream of the possibilities. Winning the lottery could change your life, good or bad but I heard mostly lottery winners have ended up bankrupt so goodluck and share the money! Thanks for the visit.

Haha, for once, I thought it was for real.

Yes K, it’s nice to read our own little stories and then laugh at it… sweet memories I say.

Like little india in town.. don’t they have a New York street where they sell New York stuff in HK? Hmmm…

“Like little india in town.. don’t they have a New York street where they sell New York stuff in HK?”

I would consider HK the NY of Asia really. Everything here comes all together like food, shopping malls but nothing can compare the transport system here - everything is so convenient. But yeah, if I win, I’m going to visit The Empire State Building, remember the movie Sleepless in Seatle? Let’s meet there. :P

Sometimes I would sit looking at the pictures of a beautiful house and minutes later, I’m already there - so easily influenced with a certain events. Hayyyy.

for a moment there i was dreaming with you! my heart leaped when you said about winning 100K dollars! anakngpusa oh! whew!

well keep on dreaming tito k coz dreams DO come true … and i really believe that when you set your mind to it you’ll get it sooner or later (yun nga lang baka di ganun ang magnitude … still … )

My genie in the bottle would probably say, “Don’t be afraid to make more than one wish” then shoot I’m going to India and meet you!

Well I’ve won in the lottery (lotto) few several times, kaso balik-taya nga lang. Sayang sana nasa NY na ako.

On the contrary, my sis-in law just arrived from NY today and I got a Statute of Liberty mug. I’m sipping my coffee daydreaming of another event, sana a BIG house na this time at maging totoo.

now that is a nice dream! keep on buying those mark six. you’ll never know maybe it’s a premonition… hehehe

Give me numbers! Give me numbers!

Guess what my boss also buy mark six in multiple lot, couldn’t believe she spend hundreds on this. I only buy from the machine pick and already getting a big picture of myself building a house.

Would you believe, one Pinay won million of dollars, went back to Pinas and bought 2 cars, 2 houses and a week later she was found dead in her bed. The suspect was her brother who stabbed her to death because she only gave him a small amount of “balato”. Ang sama!

Sama ako k!!! hahahha i wish… see u may have not been able to go bk to manila but at least u got NEW YORK instead! hahah sosi. dont forget my bathbody ha.. Labor day is coming up so watch out for unexpected buys! ang cheap.. hahaha

  12. Wavatar K on 29.05.2006 at 02:44 Post reply

Yukkoooo magastos ka! Hahaha. My current destination would be London and other parts of Europe. Everything scenery or see the pyramid glass of Palais du Louvre in an after-dark effect. I’m also fascinated with the old and gothic castles somewhere in Scotland. But I’m sure if ever I win, I’ll definately go back to Bicol, donate a chandelier in our town cathedral and buy my own lot in my resting place - or just buy a new set of BAND instruments and I will sing live in town plaza with free food and drinks.

Not to forget, buy my mom a pair of real pearl earrings with diamonds. She’s been dreaming of that. ‘langhiya hindi talaga ako mananalo nyan.

congratulations on winning that much money. you’re definitely one lucky guy! NY is a good place to spend a vacation. lot’s of places to go and see. have fun!

  14. Wavatar K on 29.05.2006 at 05:56 Post reply

Hi Jaypee, nah just my some kinda cheap thrills of daydreaming about winning the lottery and how it would affect my life. And like a lot others, I would buy a ticket in a lottery once and a while. This typically occurs when someone calls my attention to the fact that the lottery is worth a million dollars - then give myself a big “what if”. And if that happens I would craft my letter of resignation right away and fly to NY.

Hey, thanks for the visit, your site really looks so neat.

  15. Wavatar Jack Yan on 29.05.2006 at 06:44 Post reply

It could still happen. Keep visualizing that trip, K, and the opportunity may well arise for you to take it. Even being vigilant on the internet at networking services could help find a connection that will take you to the Big Apple!

  16. Wavatar K on 29.05.2006 at 08:20 Post reply

I’ll keep that in mind Jack, I’m going in there even without winning the lottery.

But did you ever hear the warning, “be careful what you wish for, it might come true?” Well, I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

    How about New Zealand?

  17. Wavatar rho on 29.05.2006 at 08:25 Post reply

hey, i believed you!! but, you know…ain’t nuthin’ wrong with dreaming! it keeps you going from the daily mundane rituals.

Positively true. Since my job become so monotonous, it relieves the boredom to keep my mind stimulated and get me through the day.

I’ve been telling this to myself, even Isay would push me to save and travel to other countries, kaya lang labo parati, but why not India? Pero 1 day lang ako nyan diyan kasi sasamahan mo ako to see Duke in Turkey. Ano kaya, would I rent a plane?

I believe kids got little magic. Cge kindly ask Bianca to give me 6 sets of 6 different numbers and let me know, tatayain ko. Whenever I buy kse, I’d choose bdays, year of birth, age.. blah* ala man lang tumatama.

  21. Wavatar Jack Yan on 29.05.2006 at 14:56 Post reply

NZ would be a lot closer than NY—and a lot cleaner! If I had the choice and was living in HK, I would go for New Zealand.

  22. Wavatar K on 29.05.2006 at 15:10 Post reply

That reminds me, a friend of mine who lives there said the same thing, “a lot cleaner”. Which month is favorable time to visit?

  23. Wavatar Scott on 29.05.2006 at 15:13 Post reply

That’s fantastic! Hope you enjoy your time in NY.

  24. Wavatar K on 29.05.2006 at 16:30 Post reply

First I will have to start my day to eat my lovely pea-shoot of dumplings and dimsum at nearby Chinatown and spend my afternoon browsing through the vintage furniture shop then end my day to the Empire State Building. I’ll probably get lost, don’t you think?

    Thanks for the visit Scott.

EAR, the plan is cancelled. I can’t find a nice company to go to NY. I’ve been calling your office and the guy at the desk said that you were having your holiday in the UK. I said, you have spoken to me in Blog Explosion over this plans but somehow he didn’t understand. Who’s that dork?

Get the picture? I was daydreaming, silly you!

Jaypee, no problem hahaha I realized I made people believe that I was actually going to NY. Now that’s a positive thought and want me to really save so I can visit, soon, I hope.

I recommend visiting New Zealand in March: it’s still warm but the university kids have gone back. Therefore, the prices should be a bit lower for hotels, etc.

  36. Wavatar K on 30.05.2006 at 11:00 Post reply

And I hope that’s summer time over there Jack since I don’t want to carry a bulky luggage full of North Face skiwear jackets. ;P

Slap me ten thousand times now just to wake me up, Neko. I was daydreaming. I probably just go visit Hawaii instead, it’s fun back there during a hot summer, aint it? Teach me how to dive. :P
    Beach party!

  39. Wavatar Jack Yan on 30.05.2006 at 16:56 Post reply

K, it’d be officially early autumn but generally most days would feel like a late summer. But Hawai’i would be nice, too! I would like to check out the Polynesian culture there and compare it to New Zealand’s.

How about Las Vegas? I’m sure I’ll put that to my itinerary and waste a few bucks to some other stuff. But I’ll spend my time with family first, you know how much I miss them.

*BTW, spammers are attacking me again because of these lottery thing conversation*

  41. Wavatar Jack Yan on 31.05.2006 at 05:44 Post reply

My server is down, and I can’t even get in, so I think we have hackers present.
Las Vegas sounds naff, though I have never been there. I don’t feel any draw to the place but then I grew up with the image of it as a hard gambling town.

  42. Wavatar K on 31.05.2006 at 16:08 Post reply

Even the ones here in Macau, I find it rather waste of time. But Las Vegas is a big place, fascinating architecture, so bright that you wouldn’t even want to miss watching a live concert. I wonder if there are real “goons” out there like the one from “Ocean’s Eleven” movie?

  43. Wavatar range on 17.06.2006 at 04:45 Post reply

Wow, that is cool. I have actually never won anything. My destination of choice right now, would be to meet up with one of my friends in Thailand. Cost of living there is low, so I could stay for a long time.

  44. Wavatar K on 17.06.2006 at 05:25 Post reply

Hahaha range - my winning was all part of a dream. I haven’t actually won anything, not just yet.

Thailand and other parts of Asia is best during the Summer. Asia is very rich in culture so I’m sure you gonna love it around here. Stop by in HK and enjoy the food & sights.

  45. Wavatar Jack Yan on 17.06.2006 at 05:26 Post reply

I’d say such goons do exist—or at least a variation of them!
