The Mirror Project: The Bathroom

April 20, 06

I was just savoring the anticipation of getting a shower when a monster appeared in the mirror in my tiny bathroom. Like as if there’s someone in there that I can’t seem to recognize staring back at me, an image fading into some copy of my past vision.

There was this energy that lets me see things or was it the mirror beckoning me inside? If you could change it all again to look exactly different as you’d like, would you? I just looked back and see it was beautiful because I never expected it.

I’d capture myself looking undernourished & unshaved for a week. I have to admit, I am now addicted to taking mirror pictures and you pretty much sense the rest if you’re all naked in the bathroom.

God, I smell like an ashtray. Can somebody give me a big hug? No, I need a new razor. Maybe not, hand me a deodorant?

*The picture was inspired by The Mirror Project. A growing community of like-minded individuals who have photographed their likenesses in a variety of reflective surfaces.

Addendum: Feeling so proud today. My likeness has been added to The Mirror Project.

Hey EAR. I was just messing up in that conversation room. I wonder it has always been quiet whenever I visit BE. There’s no hype with getting MC anymore? Aeyaah!

So I managed to check on your flickr and all this time, I realized I didn’t add you. I enjoy your shots of the castles.
