Thanks Joy. I’ve heard this online service before. But hey, I do these mp3 downloads for fun each week. There’s no obligation really but I’ll consider that when I get tired with yousendit.com. Thanks for dropping by!

  2. Joy says:

I have a suggestion for you. Instead of using yousendit, why don’t you use Box.net? It’s 1 GB for free, and the uploads are easy. People can also download individual mp3s or the entire folder you share in one go.

If you are interested, check it out : Box.net Registration.

I’ve used and find it simple and efficient.

True—we are fishes out of water! But I love being the odd one out as well. :)

No wonder this little conversation we had sounded part political, part technology and most of the time a conversation between both Asians living in diff kind of society and there you go… a complete entertainment.

  5. Jack Yan says:

It is kind of nice. I see it as important for business but also for “mainstreaming”. So I am in the media, occasionally in the society pages, stuff like that. I also do a small weekly TV show. Very few Chinese are on TV here. There is an Asian affairs’ programme, where there are Asian reporters, including Chinese, but in terms of mainstream TV, there’s me, a chick in a soap opera, and that’s about it for domestically produced programmes. If minorities remain invisible, I believe it builds misunderstanding. I almost see it as my duty to be visible.

  6. K says:

If you’re doing good in your business, you become a celebrity of yourself. You feel proud about, your family looks up to you and being expose to a society like that can be very very exciting. I don’t know but I see it that way.

  7. Jack Yan says:

I get into the press quite a lot

  8. K says:

An interview from the Press? Now I’m kinda overwhelmed, a celeberity is on my blog. ;)

  9. Jack Yan says:

I know what you mean. In an interview recently, I was asked what I did on Friday nights. I have to admit that most Friday nights I am at home, catching up on emails. Though now being back on the dating scene I am getting asked out a bit more on Friday nights, which is a pleasant change.

  10. K says:

I think I take blogging and surfing and music onlines very seriously - for the fun of it, I may say but I only do these online addictions when I’m not really “working”. I have no extraordinary lifestyle so call me a lonely person but I’m tired going out these days really. I stay home and read online stuff or do some kinky chats on yahoo. hahahaa.

  11. Jack Yan says:

Looks interesting. I’ll surf over but I might give having such a service myself a miss—I don’t know how you manage to maintain such an amazing presence online!

  12. K says:

I think you can only post links and images in the comment box. No video or music codes. Not that I have tried it but they simply don’t want Wordpress to end up like blogger. I wonder why they do the server maintenance all the time tho. That’s why I’ve found another alternative free site to download them in my Multiply account.
