Arigato Ate Sachiko-san for this site.

I know how you feel on the writer’s crap. I think I’m in perpetual writer’s block!
I noted the 3121 link there! It’s a most brilliant album.

Hi Pep, that’s a briliant Prince album. If you’re a fun of Purple Rain, this album would probably disappoint you, but it has a lot of R&B songs that I truly want to listen to if you’re lost in the entire “University of Blog”.
K, i just don’t get it… I’m hooked to your blog. You wanna know something new? First thing I’d do is to read your blog and THEN go read my emails every time i log in for the day… why is that so???? Dang. But the best part is.. every time I come here.. there’s always a new entry for me to read and most times it makes my day no matter how short the entry is. okok, i know you have a silly face on right now

Hope you have a great week ahead and hey, thanks for the songs but i’ve stopped downloading a long time ago. I know I’m good
Oh, I didn’t mean to make you “hook” into my “world” Asha. hahaha now I’m feeling like a kind of virus to you, so flattered that you actually patronize reading my blog. Well I guess a blog is not just all about proper grammar and english (include me in that survey), as a matter of fact, the part that I love most is to read all your comments and reply to them individually. It becomes more of a conversation rather than a comment really. I think it’s about the kind of “feel at home” in you.
Do you think I over-blog these days? I think nothing wrong with that right? Thanks, you’re really making my ears swell!
we blog to write nonsense also, i believe, blocked or not blocked. and sometimes the nonsense begin to make sense. hehe.
btw, thanks for the linkies
Hi Dez - I don’t know, sometimes I find it rather weird for eg, an entry contained a piece of word can get an amazing amount of comments (sometimes it makes me jealous hahahaha) I mean…. Pootoey!
I used to post mp3 songs at my former blog. I quit because people sometimes forget to say “shit, good job, thank you”, if you know what I mean.
You are most welcome.
ur just excited to go home k… miss u!
ur just
excitedto go home k… miss u!Yuri, di ah? Honestly it’s not just about being excited, sometimes it’s worrisome. I’m excited that I’ll be off from work, even not permanently - at least for the time being. But I usually feel better once I’ve had time to settle the things I planned. But you never know, sometimes on a last minute, we always experience the change of plans from what you originally had planned for. Going on a trip is such a challenge huh? Besides you are already making me feel so fooking jealous! I hope you had a goodie time with your clans.
That’s so nice of you to actually download for other peeps! you could make that a business!
I once read an article where the girl basically arranges and uploads the songs you want in your ipod for a fee. Not bad eh??
Have a great week too, K!
If I can remember, I used to download mp3 and share it via blog-entry. It becomes a habit, addicted to the hobby. Someone I know who uses this kind of free downloading service caused him to shut down his blog, you know copyrights, RIAA those bastards started attacking his site. And that moment on, I thought shit, Im going to be the next. Later on I realized, those people were only jealous, that was his blog all about, mp3 and stuff. The guy got thousand hits on his blog everyday and because of the none-ending requests of songs, he closed down his blog out of bashing.
And I hope this addiction won’t happen again (well I can see I’m still in it) hahaha.
K, don’t know ur mail.. cant fwd the link to the vid. thanks.
Yuri, email add is knoizki.at.yahoo.com. Send me porno videos! LOL. K, whatever that is, make sure it’s virus-free or I will slap your ass till it gets red!
Thanks.
i suggest you go out and have some fun then you can write something!
Hi Charles, you’re right. But you know, I have thoughts - many of them, stories to tell but sometimes even if I want to, I just don’t think it’s appropriate to write them.
I also tend to personalized myself unless I got the guts to tell the entire University Blog about it. I’m not brave I guess, but thanks goodness for telling me to go out and have fun.
Don’t you ever think that you ‘over blog’ alright.. no way. clear that in your mind.. or I won’t get to read new stuff
Hahahaah Asha, that’s a nice back up there. I feel so proud someone out there is actually pushing me to keep up with this. And hell no, we say that all the time, “I’m quitting, it’s over”. Look at us.
Like I say, I usually avoid Tuesday for writing an entry. So don’t be surprise if one day, you’re reading the same posts. Thanks Asha!
I tend to blog when I am tired! Strange, I know. When I have my thoughts together I usually tackle work stuff and I see blogging as a hobby where I am allowed to do as I please.
That’s weird Jack. You’re right tho’, thats why we even have to write a post that “WORK SUCKS”. It’s easy to express anger when you’re tired I think which makes me confused all the time. Every personal blog you click, people write them off - we complaint too much let many people know about it, don’t you think?
When I’m at my desk at work, thoughts are overflowing, sometimes now I feel like it’s an obligation to write something at least, for myself.
Yes, I agree. There are some pretty negative blogs out there with a lot of complaints. I think you and I achieve a good balance. I did come across one called Things That Suck which actually works quite well, I have to say makes me feel very glad about life, and that I don’t live in the United States!
Oh there’s something there to learn. Thanks God for the blog, I can now write about life, music, technologies, families or work because it’s easy to express them. I think I read about someone to which he said, why he hates personal blog - he thinks it’s stupid, oftentimes classified as exhibitionist, ranter, moron, a town crier (I got a new shoes, those kind of thing) aspiring writers - you name it, but the thing is, everyone is Pimping out with their blogs, be it personal, politicial, picture or food stuff. Like I said, I will always give someone the WTF look and say, ” hey, this is my personal blog, if you don’t like the style I write here, go read something else”. If you know what am saying (Oh no, I hate this phrase). But being personal is at least accurate for a blog, right?. Wajathink?
LMAO, Yuri. I was kidding. I said it was “cute”, slapping your ass till it gets red. Amazing video - thought I was gonna see more flesh there (well almost), the bathroom picture with .. are those detergents in your bathtubs?
Harlow! What do we have here? Finally got around to dropping by and a new layout I see! Yipee! Great stuff. Don’t mind if I park myself here to sift through the archive.
Hop in Par. Well it’s just a part of my spring cleaning. Change here, delete there, try this, put that - it’s another season, there’s always something to look forward to. How have ya been?
Busy, busy, busy… haha. Things are picking up at school. Just got back from a 3 hour meeting that could have been 1h, had 2 sandwiches for lunch and I’m gonna crash soon. Hope your day’s been good.
Well the easter holiday is here, you may soon be having a holiday break. I had sushi for lunch.
I think blogs are inherently personal because if they weren’t, they wouldn’t be blogs. They’d be magazines, e-zines, or something else, that happened to use blog-like software. Isn’t blog short for personal weblog?
Right on Jack. I’m pimping out with my blogs around here. I read personal blogs all the time, (well some I read NEWS about what’s happening in the world too but I leave that to my TV), about life lessons or other words of wisdom to live by.
I pimped out a bit at the beginning to get my blog known, so I totally support this! Personal blogs are great. Incidentally, have you heard of the Korean Ohmynews.com? There is an English edition, too. Essentially, bloggers there are journalists.
And as it sounds, you are a journalist by profession right Jack? I blog for the fun of it. I enjoy the flickr, the music, the happenings - these are the ones that I do when I blog. I use them most of the time and people might find it boring but really blogging can be anything, right?
Hi K: Happy Easter! Christ is risen!
I am not a journalist by profession though I own a few magazines—so consequently I get to write for them. I think blogging’s definition is completely up to you—that is the beauty of it. I also believe people should blog for their own leisure (or other reasons), which is why I now tend to mix my posts up with personal and business stuff.
That’s great! And post pictures too - Oh mine is like the daily thoughts, the funnier side of me doesn’t really express much about myself, maybe onde day I will if I can write well enough, journalist point of view. What comes out from my mind, I write them. I don’t care anymore if I write the same thing - it’s just a blog, it’s just about me and it’s just abot the fun thing to do - no other obligations.
Exactly—that is the best approach to have. I blog really as a hobby, no more. But if I help people through blogging, then all the better!
I think the past few years, I find this blog really a serious “hobby”. I’ve probably quit going to the bars and ignored few friends calling me for a night out because I’m busy with my blogging.
I just have to watch it on the days I have a date! (I won’t give up girls for blogs!)
Sure Jack never miss a date with girls than be sorry.
It’s about juggling two girls right now, sort of … (I am just “seeing” them, so please don’t think I am a sleazebag!). BTW yours is now the top blog (in the last ten days) at coComment.
Aherm Jack, no not at all. Oh geez it is. hahaha thanks to you.
Glad to know I can help! It can only be a good thing.
You are one of the best commenter EVER around here Jack. I’m glad you came over checking on me. It reminds me of my old blog where my regulars pouring me with kind comments, I’d probably lost them but they are here continue showering me with love - this blog is still grinning.
Thanks, K! You have a good blog, too. I enjoy reading your new posts as well. I think you are a good host as it’s just easy to have a decent chat with you.
Me too Jack, I’m having a great time hanging around here. But you know the best time for me is going to sleep. I find it funny tho when I wake up, the next thing to do is to check my blog. Weird as you may call it but other times, it’s very hard to step off and ignore people leaving comments in your blog. How do you call that again?
I do the same thing. I check the blogs first, almost as my way of waking up. I think it’s like checking messages on email that have come in overnight—just courtesy. And since your blog is an extension of your home, you want to see if visitors have popped by and left notes.
And no more chat messengers for me. I’m still trying to figure out what RSS means and what these FEEDS are really for? What makes blog intertesting is that, it can be another forum for people who give you feedbacks & ideas to learn one way or another.
Maybe my blog is getting too personal that sometimes I vent on other things and write it down here for others to read. My blog-desk becomes my instant dining space and it sometimes gives me the back pain from sitting too much. hehehe.
RSS is kind of handy if you want a brief summary without visiting others’ blogs first but my connection is so fast that I would rather go and see the entry with the bells and whistles the author intended. I think it’s good to get personal from time to time: it’s quite humanizing. I did that today with my post and talked about how I am “between girlfriends” (and I do not mean threesomes!).
That’s great Jack, I do believe that when your blog is kind of personal, hearing people rants (mostly complaining about the world), you can easily share the “same side of the moon”. Sometimes I just sits and have questions to ask my self regularly then I put that in writing.
Blogs are a great tool for working through those issues, too. I think they can be very healthy like that, almost a form of therapy. I use it for that sometimes. They could put a lot of shrinks out of business!
And I wanted to put videos and music too but WP.com won’t allow me. It’s also part of my daily blog routines, playing music while I write my entry.
That’s a shame. You know how I can add HTML here as a commenter? Will Wordpress let you make posts with some Javascript where there are videos and music embedded?
I think you can only post links and images in the comment box. No video or music codes. Not that I have tried it but they simply don’t want Wordpress to end up like blogger. I wonder why they do the server maintenance all the time tho. That’s why I’ve found another alternative free site to download them in my Multiply account.
Looks interesting. I’ll surf over but I might give having such a service myself a miss—I don’t know how you manage to maintain such an amazing presence online!
I think I take blogging and surfing and music onlines very seriously - for the fun of it, I may say but I only do these online addictions when I’m not really “working”. I have no extraordinary lifestyle so call me a lonely person but I’m tired going out these days really. I stay home and read online stuff or do some kinky chats on yahoo. hahahaa.
I know what you mean. In an interview recently, I was asked what I did on Friday nights. I have to admit that most Friday nights I am at home, catching up on emails. Though now being back on the dating scene I am getting asked out a bit more on Friday nights, which is a pleasant change.
An interview from the Press? Now I’m kinda overwhelmed, a celeberity is on my blog.
I get into the press quite a lot
If you’re doing good in your business, you become a celebrity of yourself. You feel proud about, your family looks up to you and being expose to a society like that can be very very exciting. I don’t know but I see it that way.
It is kind of nice. I see it as important for business but also for “mainstreaming”. So I am in the media, occasionally in the society pages, stuff like that. I also do a small weekly TV show. Very few Chinese are on TV here. There is an Asian affairs’ programme, where there are Asian reporters, including Chinese, but in terms of mainstream TV, there’s me, a chick in a soap opera, and that’s about it for domestically produced programmes. If minorities remain invisible, I believe it builds misunderstanding. I almost see it as my duty to be visible.
No wonder this little conversation we had sounded part political, part technology and most of the time a conversation between both Asians living in diff kind of society and there you go… a complete entertainment.
True—we are fishes out of water! But I love being the odd one out as well.
I have a suggestion for you. Instead of using yousendit, why don’t you use Box.net? It’s 1 GB for free, and the uploads are easy. People can also download individual mp3s or the entire folder you share in one go.
If you are interested, check it out : Box.net Registration.
I’ve used and find it simple and efficient.
Thanks Joy. I’ve heard this online service before. But hey, I do these mp3 downloads for fun each week. There’s no obligation really but I’ll consider that when I get tired with yousendit.com. Thanks for dropping by!
