A Dialogue With K

it’s all about the taxis, billboards, sidewalks, cinemas, zebra lines, lights, sounds, people, skyscrapers and shopping malls.

It was a very laid back Saturday. I’ve been doing the ladies chores, scrubbing the toilet’s floor, re-varnishing the flat’s wooden floor, & kitchen was a place to ugh, you know what, forget it. Besides, I will have to pay somebody to iron my clothes tomorrow, thinking, it’s going to make me poorer. I’d say NO to ironing, please not a single shit of shirt, while I am already miserable, lonely, stressed and .. I wish not getting in sick.

No rest for this modern age? Can we just have at least a rest day without doing these bunchies? I have at least routinely put more than 10 hours at work and it seems that the pace of modern life is taking its toll. Is there a message for modern men and women in the way our planet was designed to operate?

“Come away by yourselves to a quiet place, and take a rest for a time.” - Mark 6:13

I’m just tired. I’d like to take a long hooooo-liday!

However, I have been grossly enjoying the heavy beat of surround sound playing KT Tunstall. This sparkling Scottish young lady has got alot to offer the world of Music. This album has everything you could possibly want. Its got uplifting songs, it has slow songs, its a perfect album. She reallys sings from the heart on every track, and her voice is beautiful. I say, girl I love your voice, it’s fresh and unique. And No, she doesn’t sound close to Dildo. errr Dido, I mean. Where is she?

Ash, Aside from blogging and smoking, music is a drug. Have you ever found yourself sitting around, doing nothing, just listening to music? Have you ever thought about what you actually are doing? You are satisfying an addiction. We get “high” in many ways. hehehe.

When it comes to clothing care, there are quite a few things (to me they are not) one needs to do, like stains have to get out, clothes have to be clean, then dry and in many circumstances, clothes have to be wrinkle-free. Ironing takes time and patience. I think I’m just the lazy wrinkled person who hates doing it. 8)

Anytime Consuela. I don’t know much about what kind of music you like but I’ve been thinking to post a lot more of songs these days. Since this blog is limited to posting javascripts, mpeg’s, etc, I can’t even post music videos I want.

hee you should invest in some fabulon iron-free spray if you don’t like ironing =P that’s my lazy way out for those occasional times when i’ve used up my supply of crease-resistant clothes!

Hahaha Aemii - the ironing was fixed. It wasn’t me - I hired someone and was told that I don’t take care of my clothes. I even let the lady iron my underwears, now as if it won’t let me use them because they are simply looking perfect.

I’ll look and try that spray, thanks. ;)

“Sha, hello…… this is a friggin long distance call fr HK, is that you”?

I thought you were on a mini-chuvachuchu hiatus my lovely chef? I can send my grannie to make plantsa your clothes. She’s 80 plus old who uses the no-electric iron (the uling plantsa) and let it sit in a dahon-ng-saging to keep your clothes to smell like “Ariel”. Do you also “armirol” them para crispy? ;)
